Hello out there I own a 2006 TSX and I wanted to know if the Verizon Samsung Glyde or enV2 are compatible on the Hands Free Link system? Any help is greatly appreciated.

| My TSX starting burning oil after I took it in to the Concord Dealership in Norcal for the 60,000 mile service. I have since taken it back about 4 times and they have done all kinds of tests and tell me that's normal for this car to have to put in a quart of oil every thousand miles...eveyone I have talked to about this says its not normal. I even took it to an outside shop and they said it was burning excess oil from somewhere and the deal needs to fix it but the dealer will not. I just wanted to know if anyone else with a 2004 TSX is having this problem. I appreciate any feedback. Thank you! | |

Sounds like you went to one, but if the result was "it was burning excess oil from somewhere and the deal (sic) need to fix it," you probably need to check with another independent shop. These guys screwed something up. Good luck. This, by the way, is why I do my own oil changes and most of the other service as well.

Replying to: 1036www (May 30, 2008 2:28 pm) If your car is using 1/4 of one quart every thousand miles, you do not have an issue. Mine uses that much. If you have a manual and rev the engine, the oil will get consumed. If you are using one full quart every thousand miles, I would agree that it is high. If it were me, I would document the consumption with receipts. There other thing I would do is have an independent analysis of the oil. You can get a sample next time you change it. There are several places that do this, I have used a place called Your Oil.Net. They will send you a report showing the types of metals found in the oil and provide some commentary on their findings - for example, excessive amounts of copper.... I think it's about $30, but it might be the type of evidence that would sway Honda to covering any repairs. I would also be gathering documentation to prove you performed oil changes. Keep in mind that people are always trying to push repair expenses back to the manufacturer, so they can't afford to be too easy. If you have a well documented case, making a reasonable request, the car isn't too far outside of warranty and you are the original owner that bought new, they will give it due consideration. An emotional complaint on a second owner car well outside warranty limits with no maintenance documentation won't get $1 of coverage.

Help needed here.  I cannot start my one-month old 2008 TSX. I put the key into the ignition switch, but I just couldn't turn it. It seemed to be locked. I also noticed that it didn't display "Welcome Driver 1" as usual; only showing "Welcome". Other than that, I didn't notice anything unusual. I was still able to drive it last night. Help! Any suggestions? Thanks a lot! Rick

Replying to: rick2car (Jun 22, 2008 10:42 pm) Does the engine turn over but not start? Does the key turn, but the starter doesn't even spin? If you just can't turn the key, have you tried wiggling the steering wheel back and forth? Sometimes when the car is stopped immediately after turning into a parking place, the steering wheel force on the lock will make the key hard to turn.
