Replying to: bking2 (Feb 23, 2008 1:19 am) What a terrible dealership!   I'm no expert, but it sounds to me like an air/fuel issue - a bad O2 sensor or something. Back in 2002, I had a company car (Chrysler LHS) that had the same issue come up after about 20,000 miles. The dealership I took it to told me it had something to do with the computer receiving a faulty signal that the car was at a different altitude, causing the computer to improperly set the air/fuel ratio. I wasn't very mechanically savvy back then, but I do know that the Chrysler was fixed under warranty (a re-flash, I think) in 1 day and the problem never returned.   Whatever the problem (O2 sensor, ECM, etc.), your OBD computer should have stored a fault code when your car stalled. All they had to do was plug a code reader into the OBD port to see what was happening.   Oh, and congrats on the 328i - terrific car. I suspect the BMW dealer was happy to take your trade-in because they know the problem is a simple and inexpensive fix. I assure you your old TSX is no lemon, and the BMW dealer won't lose money on it.

Every time I go on vacation for about five to seven days, I come back and my car doesn't start. I've been having this problem since Dec 06. I've gone to the Acura dealership here in Hawaii multiple times for this problem. I've been told it was the battery at first, then when I got it replaced they ran a diagnostic on the car and found nothing. Just recently I went back for this problem and the service consultant told me that they didn't find anything wrong with the car and to just monitor it. I think I have monitored it quite enough, but supposedly that is all they could tell me. I wanted to know how did you go about getting your new car for the same amount of monthly payments and with no money down. Please let me know when you can. My daughter has a cracked fog lite lens in her 08 tsx. Is this an easy fix (or must she go to the dealer) and can anyone recommend a good place to buy the replacement lens. I understand these crack very easily and is a common problem. Any help would be appreciated. The advisor asked if there was anything else I needed while I was there so I mentioned the fog lamp. They ended up replacing it under warranty as a goodwill gesture, so you might ask them to do the same. All they can do is say no.

Replying to: hp6130 (Apr 14, 2008 3:21 pm) Both of the foglights on my 06 tsx cracked within the first 7 months of ownership. The dealer replaced both of them free as a one-time goodwill. I now have rockblocker on them (ordered them from their website-rockblocker.com). I agree with dad 23, ask your acura dealer. Hopefully they are as excellent as the one I go to for service.
