I was thinking the same thing-sounded like alot of $$$. I have an excellent dealer that would go out of there way to either get it done under warranty or if not a goodwill thing.

I recoverd about 550 back because the initial quote was 1400 and that is what I authorized. I never got a call back until days later and the unresonsive service advisor said that the car was ready but it would be actually be 1900.
Regardless they should have done some sort of goodwill adjustment. I was planning on moving to the TL in a few months but I would not go back there.

Aftyer you buy your TL, you should drive it over to that dealer and show them how their poor service lost them a sale.

I have an 04 TSX 6spd with 45,000 miles. I am currently on the 3rd clutch master cylinder. My clutch pedal squeaks from time to time, and also become a bit notchy right off the floor. This is why the dealer has replaced the master cylinder 2x already. once at 18,000 and again at 41,000. It STILL occasionally has the problem. The dealer is willing to take care of me after my warranty expires in march. (Some threats and bad reviews of the dealer/service manager to Acura corporate helped secure that.)
Has anyone else had similar problems with a creaky/notchy clutch pedal?

no problems (knock-on-wood) with the clutch on my 06 tsx, now 13 months old with 33,000+ miles. the service department where I take my car for service has a excellent service manager and advisors. They go out of their way to be helpful.

what is a reasonable cost for the 30,000 mile service? My dealer quoted me $720.00. Are all the items necessary?

what are they doing for $720.00-hope alot more than what I paid $200.00 for my 30,000 mile service (B12 service) It included oil/filter change, rotate/balance tires, replace air and pollen filters, check fluids and refill if necessary, check out car, hand wash and vacuum it. I got to use a loaner car while my tsx was being serviced

Currently, I am leasing the 2008 Acura TSX from August of 2007, and it has about 12,100 miles on it. I have it leased for 24K per year for 36 months. However, would it really make a difference if I get my tires rotated, and balanced, and alignment at a local firestone store, and not by the Acura dealer?? Only thing that I do is get an oil change at the dealer, so atleast that way they can re-sent the maintenance minder. Any suggestions? I think my car needs balancing, and alignment. Please advice. Thanks...
