The other big company is Assurant which you left off your list. Wachovia was formerly GE which was Old heritage insurance company. CNA is having financial difficulties, so I would not buy that.

All extended warranties are worthless regardless of what dealers say. Warranty gold was AM best rated and BBB rated .It went kaboom. They have lots of exclusions. 1% maybe OK . So 99% are crap shoot . Search for a needle in a haystack that you may never find. Or buy the haystack ,that is , the manuf warr . Always buy the original Manuf warr from the dealer or any dealer online, not a 3rd party crap shoot aftermarket warr.
Your 1st two posts promote a company .No soliciting allowed. Guess the mods will get busy here.

Just wanted to correct my statement-- It should say -" All 3 party aftermarket ext warr" and not just " All ext warr" Buy only the manuf ext warr, not a 3rd party aftermarket worthless piece of crap.

'03 CPO BMW 325i E46 w/ 45k miles and '06 S Porche Boxster w/ 15k miles by atwnsw1

My wife's BMW CPO warranty will expire in 2 weeks. I have a Porsche Boxster S whose factory warranty will expire in 6 months.

Since they are both expensive cars to repair but have low mileage, I would prefer to have an extended warranty. My 1999 Porsche Boxster had a blown engine (luckily covered under factory warranty) and a number of repairs that more than paid for itself (used Warranty Direct). Unfortunately, the pricing for the WD warranty on my first car was $2k. Now they want $5k for my wife's car and probably $5-6k for my Boxster.

Is there anybody else who is reputable?

I won't spend $10k on policies for both cars but would spend closer to $5k.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Unfortunately there is no Manufacturer Extended Warranty available on either car...

Yes, buy a Honda. Just kidding, few here will recommend anything but a manufacturer backed warranty, too many of us have been burned by 3rd party warranty companies like Warranty Direct.
