I have sold over 35 Ford VSC to people off this site and never violated the TOS once

Nice job on that joel. I've always thought the more reliable the vehicle the less money you will pay on a VSC/extended warranty. How does the cost of a typical Ford VSC compare to the other brands? I'm guessing about in the middle.

You might be suprised. I used to think the same thing till I started visting here and began studying the Honda VSC prices paid thread. Ford VSC's are in allot of case cheaper then a honda VSC and where theres have to be within the first 6000 miles for the best deal we are 12000 miles.

That's good to know. I generally don't go for extended warranties or VSC's, but if the price is right I wouldn't mind a little extra peace of mind on a new Fusion (?).

A 6yr/100K Premium Care on a Fusion FWD can be had for $870. 6yr/75K runs around $625, as long as a car is within its first 12/12. Thats with a $100 Deductible.

One thing I find interesting is that the VSC's I sell across my desk here in the office maybe 1 out of 50 will pay for the lower deductible. The majority are happy with the standard $100.

7 out of 10 people I have helped here pay extra for a $0 or $50.

I'm about to purchase a 2004 Volvo XC90 with 58k miles. One owner with all service records from a local Volvo dealerhsip. Vehicle is in excellent condition however the factory warranty has ended. I was looking at Paragon, Warranty Direct or Complete Automotive Repair Services for a warranty. Any suggestions on how I should proceed?

Thanks!
