No one will reliably cover your car in Mexico, the propensity for fraud is too great.

You might want to check with dealer, I know some dealers that offer walkaway insurance, regardless of the manufacturer. When a manufacturer does it, they are contracting with one of the companies that offer this protection. They are one of the third party providers that some on here seem to loathe so much. Yet those companies are the innovative ones, that particular type of insurance originated in canada and has been up there for years. Just read fine print, it's decent protection, but with everything else just follow the rules.

I am permanently bringing my vehicle down here - I already have Mexican auto insurance. Am just looking for an extended warranty plan which is valid in Mexico. I know Chrylser offers this for their vehicles, but this seems to be pretty much the only company with this policy. I may have to check with Ford here in Mexico - maybe they can help me... BTW, does AAA offer extended warranty plans? I couldn't find any info on this on their website.
Thanks for your input so far...

I don`t think any American ext warr company will cover for a vehicle in Mexico.B`cos then it would involve too much of a hassle with country laws ,exclusions, maintenance proof etc.,etc.
But if u are staying in Mexico permanently,,then it is better to search for local Mexican ext. warr companies.Probably the Ford/GM dealers down there can get u a warr..
So if u have any contact info of the Ford/GM dealers in Mexico,,call them and they could help u.That would be your best bet.
Good luck..

Read the warranty book in the glove box. There is a section that talks about if your car breaks down in a country that does not honor the warranty you can be reimbursed for the cost of the repair one you return to a country that does honor it.

Hi there -
In taking a look through this stream, I was wondering where you obtyained this info and was it for APCO. If so, could you tell me what the updated prices might be for dealer wholesale for an easy care -total gold package for the various years/miles- thanks so much -
