3.5 liter on base FWD by rodut

I agree with bjbird2. Also it's very nice that the new base FWD (2006) has the 3.5 liter engine !!! So the old two valve per cylinder 3.8 liter engine is no more on Pacificas.

Also it's still available without that crappy Stability Control System, which becomes standard on more and more vehicles. Very nice car (sorry ... SUV ... )

Problems with Miles of Freedom Program by lauriecann

Hello all,

I recently purchased a 2006 Pacifica, which I love, but I signed up for the miles of freedom plan. They really seem to be giving me the runaround about receiving my debit card worth 2 years of free gas. Have any of you had this problem and if so, how did you resolve it? Chrysler said that they requested my card on November 22nd and JP Morgan Chase says that they don't have any information on me. Chrysler even said that they expedited it. I'm starting to get a little frustrated. Thanks for any help you can give.

P.S. They told me that I should have received it in 15 days and now I'm on day 25.

2006 PAC Limited Loaded by pe72pe

I just leased a 2006 PAC limited AWD with nav, dvd, sirius sat, uconnected, laminated glass, etc. It is loaded. Price I negotiated was $34,443. I decided to lease it with absolutely nothing down for 27 months, 12,000 miles. Rolled in first month payment into the lease and they charged me a $700 bank/aquisition fee and I have a $300 exit fee. My payment is $522.00. Residual on it is about $24,458. I like the deal any thoughts?? If I lease the car and pay cash for it at the end of 27 moths it costs me about $38,500 (14094+24458). If I finance it from day one 6.39% (best chrysler financing I could get with maximum rebates)for 27 months and pay cash at that point it costs me $41,013 (19,363+21,650)and I get the flexibilty to return it and most importantly not a penny out of my appreciating investments to put down. Any thoughts?? thanks.

I have leased many cars since 1969 & find that they are only a "good deal" when you drive a min. of 25,00 miles per year or more. The 12,000 mile lease is like a trap to get you to buy the car at the end of the lease. If your credit is good then you should be able to get a lot lower rate than 6.9%. I bought my '05 Pacifica Signature Touring model for zero down & zero% for 48 months thru Chrysler. After you buy the car at the end of the lease you will have to keep it another 3 to 4 years to come out even as the value starts to go down fast after 36 months. In my case, the value of the Pacifica will be greater than I owe after 35 to 38 months which will be the time for me to trade it in for a new one. My average yearly milage is now between 13-15K so it will have less than 48K when I trade & that is considered a plus.

Bought a 2005 Touring with 22,000 miles by bowgy4

I just picked up a 2005 Touring FWD with Leather, surround sound, 6 CD/DVD in-dash changer, fog lights, traction control, side-curtain airbags, power liftgate, cargo convenience group, and wrapped in beautiful midnight blue. We paid 21,700, before tax plus had a $1200 trade-in (couldn't have got that myself). We put down $5000 and received 5.99% financing. We also looked at a 2004 with the same mileage but more features for roughly the same price, but when it came down to it, the other car was white and my wife never wanted a white car - I wasn't too keen on keeping it clean either. So, how do you think we fared? Let me know what you think. This is a central illinois dealer, so I imagine we may have gotten a slightly better deal. It has the 7 year/70,000 powertrain warranty and 1 1/2 years left on the 3/36,000. I think it's a great deal, as I talked them down from 24,995, first offer, 22,800 second offer, 22,300 third offer, 21,700 was the price I named. I could sense the frustration in the sales manager's voice, so that is usually a good sign. Only drawback I could find is that it was a rental for 8 months.

Well, easy come, easy go. I returned the 2005 because it was hitting hard occaisionally when shifting gears. The best part is though that I drove 3 hours to Royal Gate Dodge near St. Louis and picked up an even better deal and car - a 2004 AWD Pacifica with heated seats, memory, sunroof, and chrome wheels. This was a Chrysler Certified Pre-Owned (meaning an 8/80,000 powertrain warranty) and I got it for 19,900 plus $1200 for my trade-in. Could have gotten it cheaper if I had more time, but I think it is still a great deal and I love this car twice as much. We also noticed some marks on the '05 the next day (we bought the car at night) but the '04 is 100% spotless. The interior even looked like showroom new (no marks or scratches anywhere that I could find). I'm excited and hope that the next to person to buy and post here is excited too!

Deals on leftover 2005 models by 05rubisahara

I am strongly considering a new leftover 2005 Pacifica Limited if I can find one in desirable colors with nav and rear DVD. I know a 2006 Limited with same equipment will list for $41,300. I believe Chrysler is currently offering $3000 rebate if financed through them.

Anyone know where a 2005 leftover should be priced bearing in mind the deals offered on the 2006's? I was hoping somewhere in the low $30's.

I picked up a 2006 PAC limited totally loaded for $34,443 (MSRP was about $42,180 or so). If you can find a 2005 it should be considerably less. Good luck.

pe72pe,

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like you made a super deal. I would jump on a 2006 Limited for that price. Do you mind divulging the dealership or location? I am in Maryland and most of the dealers are lame on stocking the Limited. Nav, rear DVD and U-connect are a must.

Thanks,

Harlan

No problem.

Also I found Chrysler's website to be fantastic tool in searching for specific dealer inventory. They are all willing to negotiate over the phone. You can also see what incentives Chrysler is offering. Currently $3000 on purchase or $4000 if you've leased with before.

Good luck!
