Lookin for Loaded Pacifica deals and info by deezldub

Been looking for a larger vehicle than my Jetta Wagon, and was leaning to the Toureg...Anyway after realizing that my dealer, and VW aren't even close to being able to service a new model, started looking, and I think Pacifica is the one...
Looking at a virtually loaded pacifica, and was wondering if there was any new incentives that are rumored or are starting or stopping?

The Demo program is hinted at in the local ads, but are shown on lease pricing. Haven't seen the dealer, but figured I'd get equipped with information before I see him.

Is the Demo discount off of MSRP or invoice.
Invoice is 37517 and MSRP is 41200. I would be happy with 6K off of the 41,200 and a good trade offer, but would be even happier if the 6K was true value and it applied to a number closer to the 37,517...

Anyone get a great deal on a loaded Pacifica??

Also, are any of the factory options dealer do-able if they are not on the vehicle, specifically the full size spare, and the cargo group are missing at most of the dealers in the area...

I bought my Pacifica at the end of June for $1500 under invoice with about $1300 worth of Mopar accessories thrown in. I like doing part of a deal with accessories because I would have paid full retail but the dealership is only out half that amount and it makes both of us feel pretty good. The value for my trade was just OK but I was glad to unload that crappy Mitsubishi!

My Pacifica already had the full sized spare but I was able to work the cargo group into my accessory list. That was pretty straight forward though and I know some factory options just aren't available after the fact. My guess is that the space designed for the spare tire can accommodate either size.

I've put about 3,000 miles on now and have been very pleased. I was able to load about 10 hours of DVDs in the changer for the kids on our vacation and it was smooth sailing! Anyway, if anyone thinks the Pacifica is over priced (it's not) then they ought price out a Toureg...

Got two offers of 1147 to 1436 below invoice, Not exactly what I wanted, but very close. The trade offer will be the factor, but has anyone gotten much better recently and gotten close to the Kelly Blue Book on trade??

A reporter with a major magazine is looking to interview people who were drawn to Chrysler dealerships by the Pacifica, and then experienced sticker shock, and perhaps purchased the Town and Country instead.
If you fit the bill, please respond to jfallonedmunds.com by Friday, September 5 with your daytime contact information and a few words about your experience.
Thanks!

The sticker was $37,555 and the price I paid was $31,728. I was happy with the deal and am happier with the Pacifica. My wife and I both love it the more we drive it.

Did you get the deal you mentioned in post# 105? I saw you got your blue PAC on another post. I agree w/ you on the cruise control issue. Friday night, on my way to the NC coast, I tried to use the cruise control for the first time and noticed that the controls were not lighted. I had to turn on the inside cabin lights to read the little white letters on the buttons. A bit inconvenient for those of us who can't remember which button does what.

Got the MBlue Pacifica... What a vehicle! But I dont need to tell you that... The deal was Sticker of 41200 for 35400, and My trade was 1250 over kelly blue book excellent condition. Plus 2.9 on the balance, and the 14 free oilchanges that Chrysler was throwing in this weekend. F&I tried mild pressure for a warranty/glass etch package. Told him no, came pack with the paperwork, and tried to sneak in the glas etch insurance again!. Again told him no. Got the paperwork printed again, and I made it clear that we had 20 minutes to finish the deal, there were dinner reservations at 730 PM, the sales virgin got nervous, and the deal got done. We inspected the STV, and it was perfect, except for the dealer sticker that was NOT to be there... They fixed that post haste...

We drove 250 miles yesterday, 200 today, and so far, near perfection... Maybe not perfect but as close as I have ever been in my own vehicle...

Near Misses:
1:outdated DVD for Nav. I shouldnt have to burn my one upgrade coupon just to get mapping in the area of the dealer...
2: No backlites in the cruise control buttons
3: (sarcasm on) Radio needs a few more buttons!(sarcasm off) That thing is an ergonomic miss...
4: Why does hood need a prop rod. An 18K VW doesnt, why a 41K Chrysler...
5: Where should the headphones and remote go, since they dont fit in the console, where?

Home Runs:
1: HID Lites, thats what its supposed to look like at night. Get these if you can
2: Nav System. Also got it right, in the right spot
3: DVD system with a DVD changer!, so beats the system that hang the player in the display area.
4: Seat comfort. Im 6 foot and high 200's and it just works right...

overall extremely pleased, from the looks of others prices, I may have been able to do a bit better, but in all the other cars over the years, this is the one that I have NO buyers remorse. I got a good deal, the dealer got a good deal, and damn, it is a fun and good looking car... It Rocks, Now replace Celine with Delbert Mcclinton, and you got something...
