Green light under dashboard?

I just traded in my beloved 01 MDX and took delivery of my 07 MDX and love it! But I was wondering if anyone can tell me what this green light is under the dashboard on the driver's side to the right of the parking break release, but a little lower? It looks like an old school alarm light fom the 80's but it doesn't blink. Just glows green all the time, even when the car is off and the doors are closed. I can't find anything about it in the manual.
Thanks!

Mysterious lights.... I don't know, I just looked my dashboard for about 10 minutes (lights on, lights off, car on, car off, emergency brake, etc.). The closest green light is the seat memory on the door and way to the left. Must be an L.E.D. loose some where.

I just went out for a spin and I was wrong about it being on when the car is on, that's the only time it's off. It's just strange because it looks after market -- everything else is so sleek and this is a black box (tiny) with a light screwed in to the edge of the dash where it curves under and ends. I'd say when you're sitting in the driver's seat, it's mid to upper shin level. I'll call the dealer and ask if they know. Thanks for the reply!

speed sensitive wiper setting

There are two choices on the intermitent wiper setting(speed sensitive and manual). I have tried both settings and don't notice any difference. I assumed the speed sensitive setting was the same as rain sensing wipers I have had on other vechiles. Rain sensing wipers work great and vary the wiper speed according to the amount of rain hitting the windshield. How is the speed sensitive setting on the 07 MDX supposed to function?

Speed sensitive works differently than rain sensitive. With speed sensitive, your wiper speed varies according to the speed of you vehicle. An easy way to notice that is if you come to a stop on a red light, you wipers will slow down to once every few seconds. Once your vehicle increases speed (I think I read over 10 mph in the manual), the wipers will pick up speed.
I would have liked them to be rain sensitive as that would have automatically taken care of the speed - not sure why acura did it this way.

I have a Honda Pilot (am looking into the new MDX) and it makes the same noise, always after refueling with a full fuel tank. It's got to be the gas tank.

That definitely does not sound like standard equipment, can you show us a picture? Anyone else w/ an '07 have this light? Do you have lo-jack or other non-factory alarms?

I uploaded two pictures of it into the photo album. Nope, no lo-jack or non-factory alarm that I authorized. Thanks for looking!!

That looks strange. Did you ask your dealership about it?

That light looks aftermarket installed. Please let us know what it is when you find out. Way too weird!
