I bought the universal fit CIPA tow mirrors - not as nice fit as those designed specifically for the GM/Ford/Dodge but they work fine for under $30 each. Try Amazon or Camping World.

I do have the Homelink in an 04 sport. When I had the windshield replaced, they did say that the windshield is different when you have the Homelink option.
There have been previous posts on installing Homelink. You may want to do a search.

XM RADIO

I just purchased a 2006 4Runner Sport Edition. I had XM Radio in my old car and the receiver in the 4Runner has a button for Sat. Radio. Is there a way to have my services transfered over to the SUV or do I have to get a new radio. I wouldn't mind getting a new radio, but it came with the 6 disk in dash which I really like.
Thoughts?

Help!!!
Any ideas on how to keep exhaust from coming in through the rear window? I'm thinking about going to Midas or something similar and have them mod it - bend it toward the side.
Thanks

Toyota now offers an XM kit for the 4Runner. The receiver goes under the passenger's seat and it plays through the car's factory sound system. It costs $449 + installation.

Hey, robg4! No, because there will be a rubber washer between the spoiler and the rear gate so that the water can get any where near the screw.

Hi heavan32678, visit: http://mytoyota.toyotaownersonline.com/login.php (If you're not a member yet, registration is only 3 minutes or less). There you can sample SATELLITE RADIO ONLINE FREE for THREE (3) days before you decide to subscribe to it for your SAT/RADIO on your 2006 Sports 4Runner. This will also give you the opportunity to compare it with your XM Radio in your other car. I have an '06 Sports 4Runner myself V8 4WD (housed with the 4.7L DOHC engine) I'm assuming we have the same model. At this time, I'm satisfied with the sound system that came with it. I did however, sampled the SAT/RADIO offered for three days free. Lots of great music stations all over U.S. and still haven't decide if I subscribe now or later.

If you are still interested I installed the electrochromatic mirror in a 2006 4Runner. It was included when I bought the vehicle but I had to install it. It came with the wiring that connects to Pin #A9, connector 1E1 (Brown/Red wire) in the lower left kick panel according to the Toyota manual. This wire is hot only when the ignition is on.
