I just took delivery of my new 2005 Sport. I was thinking of protecting the front end with something like the 3M film you mentioned in your post (#522). Just wanted to know what experiences you had with it. Does it hold up and stay put? Any discoloration? Can it be removed easily if needed?
I'm just nervous about all that painted stuff up front with out any protection. I like the way it looks but I'm thinking it will get serious chips easily.
Thanks for the input!

Does anyone know where I may be able to purchase a high output alternator for my 94 SR5 3.0L V6 4WD Toyota 4runner.
Thanks,

I could not tell from your message but I have a 2005 4Runner. I was wondering how I can remove the cargo shelf. I would like to install a cargo liner and need to get rid of the shelf.
It seems totally useless.
Thanks

I want to upgrade the basic sound system in a 2005 SR5.
1. What are the factory speakers sizes or replacement size?
2. Will the speakers fit or do I have to buy special brackets (based on what I have read the factory speaker brakets are built into the speakers.)
3. Ins and Outs of disassembling the door.
4. Location(s) of amp(s) (per your experience)?
5. ????

Yes it does get better gas milage a WHOPPING 2 whole mpg better. And the key word is feels. Did you consinder resale value on the V6 and V8? I didn't think so, The V8 is and has a higher resale value than the 6 banger. I know you probably won't agree with me so call your dealer and ask. (apples to apples.) The suspension on the Sport rocks over the SR5 on road and off. I made sure and put them both through the "drive it like you stole it tests." They are both sweet rides and you can't go wrong with ither one. I am looking for blue bulbs for my front low beams, anyone with info please contact me. Has anyone put differ tires and wheels on the 2005 4Runner? I have yet to see any that looks sharp.

If anyone has pics. with after market wheels and tires I would like to check them out I've yet to see any that look sharp. Thanks for any info. 2005 Sport V8- or any acessories that dress it up inside or out. Web sites, brands and prices would be swell.

I purchased my Borla exhaust on E-bay for 529.00 plus shipping. Installation at Midas was 264.00. Much improved exhaust note.
