I am planning on purchasing a Pioneer AVIC-N2 for my 2003 4Runner. First does anyone have any experience with this or the AVIC-N1 unit. Second, I live in Fairfield County, Ct. and after reading how poorly the installations are at the major chains, does anyone have any installation recommendations? Thanks.

I just ordered a 2005 Sport. You can only get the 3rd row seat with a SR5 or Limited, not with a sport model. So I have a need occasionally for a 3rd row seat. I checked the parts to order and install, over $2000! It was only a $730 option. I have also look at some of the aftermarket 3rd row seats online. What I would like to do I get one seat {they split in the middle and hang on the sides} for the left side from a wrecked late model 4runnery. Any one find themselves in this same dilema? Replying to: neumie2000 (Apr 19, 2005 4:21 am) IIRC, it's only standard to certain trim(s). look up toyota's web site if you need to know specifically which trims have or not have it. I seem to remember the Sport trim is diff while Limited and SR5 are closer in appearance.

Replying to: richardchamb (Apr 19, 2005 8:34 pm) The Chrome Grille is only standard on the SR5 Trim for the 2005 Model. Both the Sport Edition and Limited trims have colored grilles that correspond with the color of the vehicle.

Replying to: lukeg (Jun 20, 2004 9:51 am) I just took delivery of my new 2005 Sport. I was thinking of protecting the front end with something like the 3M film you mentioned in your post (#522). Just wanted to know what experiences you had with it. Does it hold up and stay put? Any discoloration? Can it be removed easily if needed? I'm just nervous about all that painted stuff up front with out any protection. I like the way it looks but I'm thinking it will get serious chips easily.   Thanks for the input!
