I have the 2004 Limited with double deck cargo. What I sometimes do is hook the plastic grocery bags on the 'star' shaped things on the side of the car about 15 inches off the floor of the cargo area. To this day I have not figured out a satisfactory position for the cargo net that came with my car. I have the spider net kind, I think. I have tried hooking it up at the upper level of the cargo area but have nothing to attach it to near the roof of the car. The best I have been able to do with it is to attach the hoops of the net to the under side of the upper cargo flooring, and attach the net hooks to the tie down hooks on the floor of the cargo area near the back door, but it still doesn't seem quite right. I welcome any suggestions as to how to propery hook up the spider cargo net. |

To use the spider net, you need to use the plastic hooks on the underside of the upper cargo deck and attach the other two loops to the cargo rings just aft of the rear seats. Hope that makes sense. I'll be putting up more fotos in my Yahoo photo link shortly. To use the "Star shaped things," you need to have the pouch type net, which is available on ebay for about $20 plus postage. At the dealer, I believe it is about $35 (your price may vary). |

| Can anyone tell me what do u gain by having the XREAS Option ? is it an option on the limited and not on the Sports Ed. Sounds kinda strange | |
It is standard on the Sport, optional on the Limiteds. It is for ON-road and helps reduce body roll during turns and such. You gain a sportier on road drive and ride. |
| I don't have it . Mine drives just fine, turns corners flatter than any car I've driven. And it doesn't sag to one side when you park it. | |

"And it doesn't sag to one side when you park it. " Neither does mine. What are you trying to say? |
Neither does mine. What are you trying to say? Although there were a few reports of X-REAS equipped 4Runners sagging, this is an extremely rare problem. The X-REAS Suspension does flatten out the 4Runner more than an non equipped model. I don't know of ANY SUV that turns corners flatter than any car. |

can someone recommend the best place for a front grille protector as far as pricing, and would you go with wagg or manik please? I am also curious to know which oil and cabin air filters is recommended: Napa gold, K&N or green and where is the most affordable place to purchase them? Thanks all! |
| I use K&N oil filters with amsoil 5-30 oil in my 2004 v6 limited. Mobil 1, K&N and amsoil oil filters were top rated in the articles I read. I personally like the front runner and rear bumper guard by waag. I know you wanted to know about grill guards, I talked to alot of people who say waag products are good. I just wish they still made the front runner in stainless steel. That would look great with my titanium color. | |

I am considering Manik Grille and brush guards for my 04 SR5 and noticed you can buy them in one,two or 4 piece in black or stainless. Is it better to get the one piece, is black going to hold up as well as stainless(rusting etc..) is it easy for a semi-handy guy to install, and finally if I have the sport bumper trim(FO)and the hood protector both that came with the truck, will I still be able to install one of these? Also, do the bars that go across the headlights interfere with light at night? I know you can remove them as well. Thanks in advance. Cliff |
