| I would like to keep the 17" wheels on my '04 Sport, but would like bigger tires. Do not like the factory Dunlop tires and want a slightly bolder stance, I do occasionaly off road so do not want a street tire. Anyone out there with experience with larger tires? So far been told to purchase new rims (16") and then have a choice of tires. | |
| Bridgestone Revo's and they come in stock and larger sizes for the 17" rim. These tires get raving reviews everywhere I have looked. i.e. tire stores, off-road forums, etc. | |

I plan to put BFG All Terrains on my V8 SportEdition. They are available in 265/70R17. I am told if you go any larger in diameter, you will need a lift or they will rub. The profile on the All Terrains is more square than the Dunlops, which are fairly round. This will give you a more aggresive look and better contact patch. Speaking of lifts, has anyone lifted the new 4R with the XREAS suspension? I would like to go up a bit, but I want to keep the XREAS. Thanks, Whitney |

Just got my Weather Tech Bug Deflector installed on my '04 4 Runner. The grill doesn't go back as snug and the top nuts wouldn't thread back on. The grill does not seem loose. Has anyone experienced this that can give me some advice? Thanks |

Any thoughts on best way to add XM radio to 2004 4runner Sport? In addition, I think the sound in the factory unit is a little weak but I am hesitant to replace it as I believe I will lose the steering wheel controls. Any recommendations? |

Check w/ your local authorities, but nn most states, you can have no more than four white/yellow lights operating in the front -- two headlights and two fog/driving lights. (six lights if you include high beams on some quad beam vehicles) unless you are off road. I was running headlights, stock fogs and aux. fogs and was cited in Colorado. I also had a set of hella driving lights mounted but they were wired to high beams and fortunately they were not activated too. |
