Acura TSX, Sedan
#3408 of 5064 Acura of Brooklyn

I advise everyone to not to do business with Acura of Brooklyn. Today I got a price over the phone(2007 TSX w/nav $28000 OTD). They also told me that they have a lot of color options. When I get there, there was only 1 2007 TSX MT. Of course I was so pissed. But that's not the end of the story. They told me that the price they gave me on the phone is not doable. When I gave the name of the guy I spoke on the phone, the salesman told me that guy is a tele-marketer and their job is to pull the customer into the dealership!!! I would never do business with these guys. Does anyone know an honest dealership in NYC?

I had a deal on 2007 TSX, Auto, No Nav. $26,400 (+Tax, Tags, Etc) but the dealer couldn't find the color combination I wanted (Silver-Quartz if anyone cares).
So, I Offered $26,500 for 2008 TSX (+Tax, Tags, etc) and after some tense discussions, we ended $26,800. I love it but am not sure I got a good deal.
2008 TSX Automatic w/o Nav ($26,800)
Only extras on the car are the Splash Guards, Floor/Trunk Mats & Wheel Locks
The "+ TTL" includes Sales Tax (5%), & about $129 for "Doc & Admin" fees which covered: MA State Inspection ($29), RMV Reg ($56), MA Title, Certification of Insurance & a tank of gas & 2 free Oil Changes.
I negotiated on a cash deal but took the 2.9% Fin for 36 mo. at the end of the process. It's simple interest with no pre-payment penalty - A No Brainer since I get 5.05% APY E-Trade.
Any Comparative deals on early '08's out there ?
Oh - I'm in Metrro West Boston.

kts62 - sounds like a great deal to me. Just leased an '08 TSX, no navi. Agreed-upon price (after a fair amount of negotiation) was $27,700 - approx $1,100 below sticker, but still $1k higher than your price. Payment worked out to $383(including 5% tax)(15k miles, nothing down except $595 bank fee, first pmt, registration, etc). Good luck. BTW, I love the car!

The new accord will have more room, more usable power (faster even though less hp), all of the same amenities (except hid lights) for thousands less.
The TSX is now way overpriced. No value anymore.
Accord has VSA, Nav, Bluetooth, Climate Control, Safer Frame (ACE) and quieter interior (ANC) which is now as refined as the TSX.
And it runs on regular fuel to boot!
I can't see any reason for buying a TSX now. Is the Acura badge worth thousands of dollars for a smaller, slower less safe car? Only reason I can see is snob appeal.
But as the old addage goes...people spend money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

i am the proud owner of an 06 acura tsx and I am definately not a snob. I bought the car because i was able to afford it and since I put alot of miles on my cars it was what I thought was best for me. Now if I wanted to be a snob I should be driving a ferrari (LOL) If i am a snob when I drive my tsx what am I when I am in my hyundai. My parents own an accord. I rather drive my tsx but then again mine is MT and theirs is automatic. I do agree with your statement- just look at the many huge houses that probably have huge mortgages and practically no furniture. looks great on the outside.we live in a small house with a small mortgage but it is furnished. one other thing my good friend is a acura service manager so he got me a great price on the car and I also get good deals on my service.
