Acura TSX, Sedan

I bought a 2006 Silver/Ebony TSC AT/Non-Navi yesterday from Columbia Acura. The car had 1.1 miles on it when I test drove it and 9 miles when we filled out the paperwork!!
I called the salesman on my lunch hour and told him that I thought $100 was more than fair for a doc fee and he got the OK. He said that they just raised their fee in July from $100 to $250. A friend of mine who is a salesman at a Toyota dealer told me that they also recently raised their fee to $250. I'm wondering if it is a maximum fee in the state of Ohio since it seems an odd coincidence that both raised their fee at the same time.
I also got $300 off the $26400 initial negotiation bringing it down to $26100 (invoice price) after Superior Acura across town offered me invoice price. Total deal ended up $175 more than the total offer from Superior Acura since Superior offered a better deal on my trade but would have had to order a car from Columbus, 120 miles away. Worth it for a spankin' brand new car vs. one I hadn't seen w/120+ miles on it.
My only mistake that after negotiating the final price on the phone between meetings at work, I asked how much splash guards were instead of asking him to throw them in for free to make up for the $175 gap. Paid $180 for them which is too much since the mud/splash guards cost $93 in the parts dept and the rest is labor which I should have gotten included. Net, I paid about $175-$350 more than I probably needed to but I got the car I wanted from a dealer conveniently located halfway between home and work.
#2895 of 5064 Holdback values on TSX

I've seen some notes specifying what the holdback values are on TSX and TLs. How/where do you find out this information since that seems to be the only secrets still not readily av'l from what I could find online?

The dealer is trying to make as much money as possible..
Your job is to pay as little as possible... you might have to introduce some competition to get the prices down..

I got a 2006 tsx from Acura of Orange Park Jacksonville for 28,250.00 out the door. I don't know if you live close by. I drove from Orlando to get the car. No local dealer wanted to match the price.

We picked up a new TL last night from a Cleveland dealer. The doc fee was pre-printed, not hand written on the price sheet as $250. This gives the impression it's nonnegotiable and fixed. We got a very good deal on the new TL, trade-in, plus some extra accessories so I didn't make a big stink about it. I felt as an educated customer we got a good overall deal even with the high doc fee. But when I got home, I looked up the price sheet from a car we purchased from them years ago, and the doc was written in at $50. Why it increased fivefold in a period of a few years is beyond me.
I agree with post #2892, practically everything is negotiable. Ask them to justify the price. Also watch out for all the extras that pop up in the financing area, we passed on all those pure dealer profit scams.

Thanks bz2. Has anyone purchased a TSX recently. Following is the price breakup (includes splash guard and wheel locks).
2127 (7.75 Tax in Orange County)
2007 TSX is expected to be in the showrooms by the end of Nov. So can I expect to get the 2006 TSX With navi at a lower price, say like around $29000.00
