Acura TSX, Sedan

Well as I was about to leave after the dealer quoted me a price of 391 a month for 72 months. He offered me the same deal but 340 a month for 72 months. I was trading in my 2000 honda accord, they told me 8000 for it. I was getting the 2006 acura tsx with navi. Car had a msrp of 30,500. I am not in the extreme need of a new car, can I wait longer for a lower price or is that the best I will get?

Don't negotiate monthly payments, negotiate price of the car. Also, try to separate the trade in from the purchase.
Anything around invoice is a good deal. If you want to wait you can take a chance on an 07 but with the MSRP going up and no meaningful changes coming it makes sense to make the best deal now.

#2889 of 5064 Any deals in Cincinnati area on 06 Acura TSX?
Sep 25, 2006 (8:01 pm)
I'm looking to buy an 06 TSX (automatic) without NAVI in Cincinnati. Quoted $26,400 ($300 over invoice) which seems very fair vs. Edmunds TMV and about average for what I've seen posted here.
Asked the salesman to email me the final figures for the car today and the trade in we negotiated for my old car. Was a bit shocked at a $250 doc fee. I got my current car (not an Acura) 5 years ago and doc fee was $50.
Any tips or advice appreciated.

Just purchased brand new charcoal pearl with black leather for $25,975.33 before TTL. I bought from McGrath Acura of Westmont (near Chicago) and would highly recommend it. I talked to 15 dealers, mostly in Chicago with a few in the Bay Area and McGrath Acura of Westmont was the best price and no B/S.
To get to this price I relied heavily on carbuyingtips.com, and used all the internet services to get dealer quotes. Carsdirect.com, cars.com, Autoweb, etc. and will never purchase a car any other way. Fast, easy and gets results. Thanks to all who posted before and helped me to get the exact car I wanted at a great price!

Edmunds has been very helpful site for new buyers. Thanks a lot for all the Edmunds users. I have got a OTD price of $29916.00 for 2006 TSX with navi (wheel locks and splash guard included). What do you all think of this price? What is best price you think I can get 2006 TSX with navigation system in Orange County. I am a first time car buyer in US. Please post your opinion.

Call the salesman, and tell him that the price you agreed to didn't include $250 of profit padding in the form of a document fee. Ask him to remove it, or reduce the price of the car by a corresponding amount.
You won't get what you don't ask for..
