Replying to: warwickwebb (Aug 17, 2006 6:37 pm) I happen to know that you can get the TL $1K below invoice (that was w/ NAV, as of a couple of weeks ago). I paid $500 over invoice + TTL for TSX Auto w/ NAV in May and I had to pay the $245 fee. I would get some online quotes from others and ck around...Pohanka had good prices. |

Replying to: warwickwebb (Aug 17, 2006 6:37 pm) I paid 26,085 at Radley in Woodbridge w/o navigation. So you're looking at 28,085 w/ navigation. You're in the ball park. Also the wheel locks were included. Probably could of got the splash guards and trunk tray incluced if I had pushed more. |

Replying to: msheets (Aug 19, 2006 6:06 am) I'm now leaning towards the TL. I have one question about it. It's not price related, so I apologize for posting to this board, but this seems to be the most active Acura board. I'm a gadget nerd, and the TL seems a little behind the TSX in the following ways: 1) The dealer told me the TL GPS system is older than the TSX GPS system. The menu system isn't quite the same, and the TL doesn't have the Zagat restaurant ratings. Seems weird that they would use an older system in the more expensive car. 2) No AUX in for the stereo! The TSX has this but the TL doesn't. Again, annoying when you're paying more. Are these statements accurate? Anyone else have any info on the difference between the TL and TSX navi system? Thanks! |

Hi Everyone, I'm the proud owner of a new Carbon Grey TSX Auto with Nav and Ebony Interior!!! Extremely pleased with the vehicle and have put about 150 miles on it today alone! =) I'm 24 and after being carless in San Francisco for two years, I'm very satisfied to get so much car for the money. Thought I'd walk you through what I paid, since you were all so good to post your own findings while I was searching. I don't have my papers in front of me, so the below numbers might be off by 10-50 bucks, but not much. MSRP: $30,505 Invoice: $27,900 Purchase price: Invoice Price - $27,900 I was originally quoted $27,650 from an internet inquiry, and upon entering the dealership they of course squirmed and said it didn't include destination of $670. I told them I have a tough time believing someone whose job it was to make internet quotes all day would "forget" the destination and that it was bad practice on their part. They agreed to invoice at that point (and let's be clear, they're still making 3% off base MSRP thanks to holdback) and the deal was done. I'm not going to cry about $250 on a $28k vehicle! They also threw in floor mats and wheel locks (ooh la la) per my request. =) I live in New Jersey and was planning on visiting Open Road Acura in East Brunswick (their website had quoted $27,871, but then I realized that the fine print mentioned it was without destination). I ended up purchasing the vehicle from Davis Acura in Langhorne, PA. Best of luck to all of you on your searches.
