Gotta give props to that salesman for realizing that if I was researching on the Internet, he'd just be wasting his time and mine if he gave me an inflated offer to start with.
Now I gotta keep crunching the numbers till I come up with an excellent reason that we can't afford not to buy the TSX.

I guess when your gut tells you it is too good to be true, it usually is...one way or another. Too bad it didn't work out. Still, you will love the car.

Hi, Looking for a grey 6 spd TSX, Non Nav. Any ideas what I should be paying? I have heard that 26,600 is reasonable. I can wait, but am ready to buy now when I get the right price. I have a passat now and would not buy another. Just looking for something reliable.
Thx.

After shopping and looking at about every car available ... I picked up my new 06, TSX, w/navi, Auto trans, today! Carbon Gray, w/gray int. 4.4 miles on the odometer. I paid $27,174 + TTL, no pressure for extras, free wheel locks, full tank of gas (it cost over $50 to fill this thing!). I am very satisfied with the deal and the people I dealt with, finance folks were no pressure also... Fairfield Acura, Northern Calif.

I can not get over the prices some of you are getting! Here in St. Louis 27,187 for non-nav is the best I've been offered. I was happy since it's 500 less than Edmunds TMV until I stopped by this forum. The guy above paid less than that WITH nav. Anyone else from anywhere near St. Louis getting a better deal than I've been offered?
Thanks!

That is below the base invoice price of $27,257 for 2006 TSX AT w/ NAV. How did you manage that?

Yeah, that's what the dealer said too! One thing for sure... it wasn't me or my skills as a negotiiator. It was the first time I had not been hassled at a dealership...I kept waiting for the hidden fee tricks or something, but nada. Even the finance guy did not try add anything. And with only 4.4 mi on it I knew it wasn't a demo.
It's a large dealer (many dealerships in Northern Cal) on a small lot. They only had 4 TSX's in stock. Don't know if that had anything to do with it.
Good luck to all.

Got the dealer down from 26.1 to 25.4 for a red 2006 TSX (no nav). It was a demo with 5K miles on it but sold with full warranty. I figured that was the best I could do. Another dealer wanted 25.7 for a used 2005 with 21K miles on it and another wanted 25 for a 2004 with 21K miles on it. Best for a new one was 26.7. So for 1300 less I got one with 5K miles on it. I suspect I couldn't have done much better. Car is for my son. Other son drives a one year old RSX-S. Mom and dad drive Honda's. What's wrong with this picture?

LOL .... I am handing down my 02, Chev, Cavalier to my oldest daughter. 75k on and it has (knock on wood) been a great car. Nothing fancy but very solid. 4 yrs from now the other daughters will inherit my TSX and maybe I'll have the resources to get me that SLK 350 or 390 or whatever it is MB is selling then! yeah right!
