| all the TSX I've looked at have this sticker that says dealer installs the alarm for their security and it will be removed unless you pay for it but isn't it standard on the TSX? Anyways I think we got a good deal at 24.8K + $105 for mudguards + $300 for the alarm system + TTL. Out the door in socal was 27.4K which included TTL. Seemed like a good deal but not as good as I originally thought because of the $300 alarm package | |

| Just bought a TSX non-navi, automatic from David McDavid Acura for $25700. The internet quote they gave was $26700 but I also got internet quotes from two Dallas dealerships for $25500. After some negotiation McDavid got down to $25700 before TTL so I took it. This price isn't as low as what some have paid but I feel it's a pretty good price for Austin. Hope this helps those of you looking for TSXs in the Austin area! | |

I live in the New York City Area and have been pricing the TSX. The two dealers that I visited today 5-29-05 was not aware of the the special incentive rates. They both indicated that the incentive was only on the MDX. When I showed them a copy of the edmunds messages they were in shock. Are these incentive rates so special that the dealers are hiding them from the customers? I really need some help on this one, since these rates end on 5-31-05. Are the dealers in the dark or are they trying to squeeze more money out of me? Can I really hold them to using these rates to cut me a deal? If so How? Any help would br greatly appreciated. Thanks for all the help. Fred

Hi, I'm in the market for a TSX Manual with Nav, in the Seattle area. What kind of prices are you seeing here? The color I want will probably have to be ordered. Is there a price difference in that case (since the car isn't taking up space on the dealer lot)?

What are the benefits with dealing with an 'Internet Manager' versus all the other reps at the dealerships? What exactly is an 'Internet Manager'...and how do they differ? Especially in pricing. Thanks.

I have a few questions....I live 1/2 the year in CT & 1/2 the year in NY (Long Island) and am looking to buy an 05/non navi auto TSX in about a month. Any advice on where to look first for the best deal? I am hoping that seeing that 06s come out soon may work to my advantage, but we'll see. I am able to spend 25,500-26,500 out the door, any advice would be great. If they don't have the color I'm looking for, will they find one? Secondly, CT doesnt have an acura dealership within 45mins of where i live....anyone have experiences to share when it comes to visitng dealerships for repairs, maintance? Is it an all-day event? How is the service? I am fearing driving 45mins for something and running into a problem. And thirdly, I am stuck btwn two colors.......either carbon gray/ebony or nighthawk black/parchment.......any suggestions??? Is parchment difficult to keep clean??? Thanks! |

Replying to: delmar1 (May 30, 2005 12:19 pm) All points of the deal were handled over the phone, and we were able to quickly come to an accord and close the deal. The nice thing is you aren't subject to sitting in the dealership haggling, and at the salesmans mercy. That is if you make it clear that there will be no deviation from the deal agreed upon over the phone. All that said, I'm sure not all IM's are created equal, so make sure you're firm about what the deal is to be, and, once you get to the dealership to close the deal, don't back down from those terms, or fall prey to attempts to pad the agreed upon price with frivilous fees. Your car buying experience will always be served by pitting different dealerships against each other, bidding for your services, so to speak. Make 'em duke it out for your hard-earned dollar. Johnny
