bjmanusa,Did you buy the vehicle at an Acura dealer? If so you would get the certified pre-owned Acura warranty of 100,000 miles. Seems like a good deal. And if you are happy with the deal, great. The TSX is a lot of car for the money.

All businesses have to pay tax on whatever that is left in their inventory on the last day of the year. It's the law/accounting practice. As consumers, why shouldn't we take advantage of this once every year opportunity? Not too many days left. ^_* |

Hello, Can anyone who has purchased this lovely car in Atlanta please post their prices and dealer name. Post 961 and 962 suggest $24K(which is $600 below invoice and i think a great deal) but no dealer info. Most the dealers in the atlanta and sububan areas seem to be close to $26K. These are ofcourse without TTL, but include doc and destination fees. Thanks for your help. |

$26K is a good price. You'll see lower here $25.5 is close to the best, but that is $2,000 off MSRP which most dealers will be reluctant to do with a car that is in such short supply (esp. 6MT). I have been offered $1,000 off MSRP without negotiating so anywhere between $1-$2K off sticker seems to be a fair price. Also, re: post 960, I didn't go back and look, but I suspect that was far enough back that it referenced purchase of an '04. Remember, the base price went up $500 on the '05's. Weak dollar and all that....I note that the dealers here are flooded with Ohio-made TL inventory. I'm beginning to suspect a little bait and switch by Acura in keeping the TSX in such short supply so many end up buying the more expensive domestic make thinking it to be a better car. BTW, I test drove an AT TL today, and while it is a fine automobile, it has a totally different character that the TSX and absolutely will not provide the high revving, tossable handling excitement of the TSX. BJman-post purchase remorse is not allowed. You did fine, now go out and enjoy your wonderful car. After driving the TL today, I gave my dealer the green light to order or intercept a SSM/Ebony, non-navi 6MT. If he can't find one to intercept, in other words, standard factory order, he advises April delivery date. |

Replying to: bjmanusa (Dec 29, 2004 8:03 am) why are you asking complete strangers how you should feel? Since you've already made the purchase, the whole idea of buyers remorse is moot. You've just purchased a terrific all around vehicle, which is a ton of fun to drive. Now it's time to go out and enjoy it! Short of not buying the 6 MT version, you did good. I've had mine for exactly one year, and I can tell you you won't regret it. It makes driving fun. Enjoy. GO DRIVE! Johnny

Is it possible for anyone to e-mail me a copy of the sales document showing what you paid for the car. I think the dealership I am dealing with has overpriced my car. I would really appreciate it. Thanks. michael.miles10

Replying to: johnny420 (Dec 29, 2004 1:33 pm) The TSX is indeed a very solid piece of metal. I have been driving stick shifts for the past 13 years and decided to give my right hand and left foot a break, though fully realizing that the 6 MT is more fun to drive. Happy 2005, folks!
