Where are you located dac1? Kansas City seems to be a bit of a stiff market at times. I am letting the 2 dealers see where they can get me price wise. Going to Denver for the New Year but inventory there is even more scarce.

| Drove a TSX for the first time this morning. SWEET! I will definitely buy the 6MT, but all they had to drive was an '04 AT demo with 2,000 miles on it. I expected to be underwhelmed by this car with the auto, but was pleasantly surprised by its pep. The manumatic was slick, much sharper than my previous experience with a 300M. I drove it for 20 minutes on both winding back country roads and interstate. The taut suspension was great on the back roads and not at all objectionable on the highway. The engine was extremely smooth and eager to rev. I was a little concerned about the seat but found it to fit my 6'-4" 230 lb frame just fine. Loads of leg room and a good 1.5" of head clearance with the seat all the way back and down. It looks like in this part of the country, the 6MTs are few and far between. We looked at his order sheet, and he's got about 15 on order but only one 6MT, none with nav. I will not do a dealer trade where they drive the vehicle. But, they did say they can do an "air-trade" on vehicles on order so they come to your local dealer just as if they ordered it. Now, the only decision left is to navi or non-navi. | |
| I found a Black 2004 wit Navi and 10000 miles on it in NJ, Can anyone tell me what i should be asking to buy this car for? | |

I bought my TSX over the Christmas weekend. Paid $28,400 + tax, and fees (Carbon Gray, Quartz interior and Nav). I did pay about $300 more than the best quote I had, but I was able to get the car at the dealer nearest my home and they included free oil changes for the life of the car. My wife was hesitant to buy it due to our 2 kids. She was not sure if it was roomy enough. I had it home for about 2 hours before she moved the car seats from our Odyssey and put them in the TSX. Looks like I may get limited driving time. |

I ended up with $1300 off MSRP on an 05 non-Navi 6MT. There were only 3 in the Kansas City area that fit the bill. One was black, that I didn't want as our TL is black. I checked dealer inventory in Kansas, Western MO, IA and Colo and could not find another 6MT. So, not a great deal overall but I'm happy with the deal. Did not want to spend countless additional hours tracking a car down. FWIW |

'05 TSX, MT, Carbon Grey with/Ebony interior. Non-navi. I purchased for $26,172 before taxes and fees. The 6 speed inventory is still very tight here in the San Francisco bay area. I've had it just over a week now and it is a GREAT car. 48 hours after picking it up, a BMW 3-series driver gave me the "thumbs up" approval. What a solid car and good value. -While BMW drivers are working overtime in order to make their car payments, I'm out enjoying my TSX!

Bought my TSX this past sunday at Acura of Boston for $25,500 on a Silver/Ebony, Non Nav 6MT. The dealer wouldnt come down from $25,700 and that was his final price. I actually left the dealership, just for him to call back to offer this at $25,500. I think the deal was sweet, I didnt get any where close to this is any dealership in the Boston or Southern New Hampshire area.

and re-confirmed that the TSX is at the top of my list with G35 and TL close behind. When you sit in 30-40 different vehicles back-to-back, it is amazing how many very expensive vehicles have very uncomfortable seats. This was compounded by the nimrods running the individual model stands who leave vehicles with power seats w/o power. Many seats were left so far forward you could barely get in, let alone make a determination if you had adequate head and leg room. The Japanese premium brands were head and shoulders above domestic and euro makes in quality, comfort and most definitely value. The domestic four door sedan offerings in particular were pathetic with the possible exception of the 300C.
