| what kind of cars have you owned previously? We don't have the sport package on our '07 X3 either (17" wheels) and think its highway ride is great. | |

Service guy called today and told us the brakes are OK as far as thickness goes, he just cleaned them. The remote keyless entry doesn't work every so often. The dealer was able to diagnose the problem as a bad remote antenna. Parts are coming in tomorrow and I should be able to pick up the X3 after work. I'm seriously going to try and find a way to get a 5 series when the lease on our X3 is up (july 2010). Maybe a new 528 with some trunk money because the new 5er is coming out in '11. Maybe a CPO 535. I might have to go for an Xi because that's pretty much all that the dealers around here stock.

Whenever I drive up hill 40-55 mph. Many times I smell sulfur or rotten eggs in the cabin. Even my young 3 and 5 year can tell. It seems that if I use Chevron gas it happens less often than when I use mobil or other brand of fuel. Does anyone else notice this problem? The dealer said they never heard of this problem. And I am suppose to do a test drive with a rep. tomorrow morning. Let's see what happens as there is no hills by the dealer area. Please let me know if you ever had this problem. Thanks |

Replying to: steve_ (Oct 28, 2008 1:55 pm) It's Jet Black that you really want to avoid.. Not only is it worse at showing dirt, it shows all sorts of swirl marks... It might seem like splitting hairs, but the metallic black is easier to keep looking nice by a factor of ten.. As far as keeping it clean? Hey, I just do the negotiation.. After that, it's all hers.. |
