Does anyone think Honda will make 8 seats as an option for 2008 rather than having the "link" plus 1 that it has today? We are expecting our third child in Aug, and currently drive a 2003 Odyssey LX. Would like to get a three seater second row... would be most happy with a split 60/40 second row instead of three different chairs.. I guess most of the Honda designers are not family men/women with three children..Might have to look at the 8 seater Sienna. I absolutly do not like the looks of the Sienna....

A friend of mine has 4 kids (with a Sienna) and he says they use the 2+2+2 arrangment most of the time anyway. Can't you just hear it "stop touching me"!

It's not so much the sitting experience, it's the coordination with the 2 seats beside them. On a tangent to this, does it frustrate you that when you lean & slide the middle seats forward to access the rear seat (by lifting the lever on the top of the seat) and the go to slide them back into place, the seat back is leaning too far forward? If I had a nickel for everytime I had to reach down and recline the seat for someone... Adults seem to be baffled/confused by this more than kids. |

You can see part of the grille of the 2008 Odyssey in the following picture (behind red 2008 Accord Coupe): Spy shot of Accord, with 08 Odyssey behind it
