Perhaps there is a gltch with the "build it" program and the parking assist is included. The day/night mirror works great and you can turn it off with the push of a button. The cargo net(all of $45) appears to be an option as well. The '06 came with the cargo net.
Just seems like Honda is carefully stripping some of the goodies away from the '07 Touring to make it appear the price change is minimal from year-to-year.

2007 Odyssey Changes by pmickle

In addition to the previously mentioned changes to the 2007 Odyssey, I would also like to point out that a Grey Interior is now standard in the Ocean Mist Metallic Touring, and that the color that is replacing Sage Brush Pearl, Nimbus Grey Metallic, comes standard with an Olive Interior on all of the trim lines, as opposed to the 2005 and 2006 Sage Brushes that came with a choice of Ivory or Olive. I also found that most of the Odysseys that came in Sage Brush Pearl had an Ivory Interior. I looked really hard to find one with the Olive, and it looks so much BETTER than Ivory. It hides the dirt better and the biggest thing that I hated on the Ivory, was that the top half of the dashboard was still black with the same brushed silver beneath it. The combination did not look good at all with the bright Ivory color beneath it. I thought that it was rather cheap looking. I also liked the idea of having the less common combination. And not that anyone really cares, but the weight on each trim line has increased by:
LX..............................................................................- ................................................................6 Pounds
EX..............................................................................- ................................................................0 Pounds
EX-L............................................................................- ...............................................................4 Pounds
Touring.........................................................................- ............................................................44 Pounds

I just thought that you might be interested.

Probably never. Honda builds cars for the majority & 4WD minivans are definitely the minority in sales volume.

Odyssey '07 Power Liftgate by zanmark

I bought a new '07 Ody in November because we are expecting twins in May. I bought the EX-L because I just couldn't see the price premium for the Touring especially being forced into the run-flat tires. My question is if i can get the power liftgate installed in the EX-L or is it built in at the factory. I REALLY want this and almost bought the Toyota but their pricing is whacked! Anyone know if I can get this?

not practical, although theoretically you probably could get the liftgate added.

IMO, the cheapest way to get the power gate now is to trade in the EX-L!

Depends on what you mean by drive better? DO you mean handling or ability to take road shock?

I drove both the models & found the Touring to be much stiffer on road imperfections. The PAX tires are the main difference - The EX has taller sidewalls which soak up bounces better than the lower profile PAX tires. I've found this same situation with the Honda Accord LX & EX (LX had taller profile tires & rode much better).

I've heard the Touring also has a different front sway bar for handling.

If you are looking for a great "handling" van either one is a good choice - just depends if you want to spend the extra couple thousand for the Touring. If you want a smooth, quiet highway ride with little road shock - look at the Toyota Sienna or another manufacturer.

If you are seriously considering Touring, be sure you can stand or can afford $1200 for a set of 4 replacement tires and $1600 for a set of 4 snow tires if you need them. Yes, that is really the price. Prices are high, availability and choice low. Only Michelin makes Pax. Only Pax tires fit on Pax rims. Also, very few tire stores service, repair or replace Pax. Few have the attachment to align a Pax car. Dealers are hit and miss. Some cannot repair or replace Pax. And on a weekend, Pax tire service may be unavailable. Michelin and Honda may promise everything but something this new has gaps in real world application and service. There are Pax posts here and elsewhere. Be sure you want all the good and bad features of Pax.

The only way for you to get the Power Liftgate without incurring a major expense is to trade it in for an 07 Touring.

And I doubt Honda will ever offer an AWD minivan- they'll just leave that small niche market to Toyota and build models for, perhaps, 90% of minivan buyers.
