We were just at the nissan dealership in downtown Toronto last night. We went in after seeing an Ad from Nissan Canada for a 2006 Murano SL AWD. Here's the Deal (from the website):
Offers on new Murano SL AWD L6TG16 AA00.
2.8% lease for 48months.
Murano Monthly payment is $398 with $4,998 down payment.
Lease price includes freight and PDE of $1,314.
Total lease obligation is $24,102.
First monthly payment, $0 security deposit, license, insurance, registration fees PPSA and taxes are due at lease inception.
Leases based on a maximum of 24,000 km per year with excess charged at $0.10/km.
Ontop of this, the dealer was willing to give $1500 off. I think we can get them to throw in the sunroof package as well, which is a total $2500 off. The deal is on the Nissan canada website. I'm not sure if we can get a better deal then this, but if someone is able to, please share.
Take note, that the $1500 they offered is with tax in, and the $5000 down does not include taxes. So if i do this right, the total combined downpayment is 1500+5000+(5000*0.14)=$7200.
The 0.14 is the prov/fed tax in ontario.
I'm new to leases, so i'm still trying to figure it out.
Our rep is a honest simple guy and i would recommed him to others.
I hope to hear back some feedback.
I forgot to mention that the MSRP is $41,098.00. I guess the selling price is the same, as he was using the $1500 discount for the downpayment..
For Canadian 2006 SL AWD Murano's does anyone know what the expected or average selling price is? Can i do better then $1500 off + free sunroof ($1000 value)?

So far I'm very impressed with all aspects of the car.
My last car was a 97 maxima and the build quality on the murano is pretty close IMO. Maybe "made in japan" has alot to do with it.
I haven't tracked the mpg yet, I'd say 18-19 thats mostly stop and go around town.

So what was the best reply you received using this format on the '06 Murano?

Going to drive the SE model tonite. Kind of curious as to how the "tiptronic" shifter works with the CVT transmission.

The price i bought it for $32606 was the best price i received. All other dealers came back with 2k more than this qoute.
I did not negotiate any further i knew this was a good price.

I was quoted $34,127.00 plus TTL for the same car, only an '07. The 2006 comes in at $33,550.00 or $944 more than your deal.
Do you think that the VSC (vehicle stability control) option which adds about $700 is worth the extra amount?

By personal experience, and almost every road test done by reputable magazines and industry groups....YES!!!

turboz, my fellow Canadian. I got a 2004 Nissan Murano SL AWD and no sunroof. I paid $43,500 on the road. The 2006 price should not be to far from that. I bought it early 2004 brand new.
Make sure that you ask for the price on the road to get your bottom line. This way, they can't do hocus pocus with you on all those other charges.
By the way, tax on 2004 was 15% and we now pay 14% instead.
I hope this info helps.
