That seems like an AMAZING lease deal (assuming 12k/year).
What is the net capitalized cost & the residual after 42 months?

2005 Murano SL Touring by cathye

Just purchased a '05 Murano SL with Touring Package as well as Floor Mats & Splash Guards from Dobbs Nissan in Memphis. Sticker was 33,810 and I paid 30,199. I went to the Nissan website and contacted several dealers for quotes. Played them against each other and was please with the outcome. Overall experience was good at Dobbs except for them trying hard to sell me GAP insurance, an extended warranty, and some type of theft insurance.

I test drove the SL AWD today with the Touring Package (absolutely freezing out here in Chicago) and it drove beautifully. Can get up to 48 months for 1.84% financing. Anyone know anything about Woodfield/Schaumburg Nissan.

Recent price quotes by mvs1

Hello all. Recently leased an Audi A4 SE and now in the market for a crossover vehicle. The Murano looks very enticing due to the fuel economy when compared to similar vehicles as well as it's standard and available features. I'm also considering an RX330 and BMW X3 although the BMW consumes fuel at a higher rate. I received lease quotes (multiple monthly options and 12k, 15k mileage allowed) on a 2005 Murano SL AWD from several dealers in CT and figured I'd share the best. Under the 39 month it looks like they raised the money factor to make it less appealing. There is also a cash price and finance as well. Feel free to comment, your input is appreciated. (I'd like to know if these look good). The cash down is the total out of pocket at inception. The break down follows of that amount follows. Sorry about the long post.

Did I get a good deal?? by nikkhasnis

Hi,

First time to this forum.

I got a 05 SE AWD yesterday. Did some research from carbuyingtips.com, kbb, edmunds. Got the touring, technology and dynamic control package besides the regular splash guard, cargo area protector &floor mats. The dealer had already done the window etching on all new cars, so ended pay $300 for it.

Invoice price on the car on edmunds and kbb is $35700. Got it for $35k. Total in road is nearly $38K.

Does it sound like a good deal?

Thanks

At 35k if your options match my post above looks like you got a better deal then what I was offered. The SE I believe is priced a little high than the SL. Unfortunately people must not be buying these cars. This board is not too active.

You actually have more options than I have. I don't have the XM radio.

I am getting the 3% finance from Nissan.

I am negotiating leases on a 2005 AWD SL with leather package, bose stereo etc. It'll list for around $35,000 or so.

Need 18,000 miles per year, 42 months lease.

Quotes are coming in at around $390 with $2500 or so for my car on trade.

Anyone know what a really good deal is.

Thanks.

Use Edmunds or another source to get the MSRP and invoice pricing for the Murano w/options your looking at. Muranos right now are going for under invoice prices. As far as your trade in. Do the same research, try www.kbb.com and get the trade in and private party value for your current car. Your likely to get more for it selling the car privately in your local classified, Bargain News, Car trader, etc. Reducing your overall purchase.

There's not enough info to provide an opinion on if your getting a good or bad deal. refer to my post above for money factors on leases. I had Car_man check these numbers out in the lease forum to verify accuracy.
