I received a quote from a dealer in San Jose, CA area. The price before tax&license is $32,259. Please let me know if this is a good buy. Murano 2004 SL AWD -Touring pkg. -Dynamic Control -Splash guards -Floor mats -Cargo Protector Please let me know if you're aware of any special financing that Nissan has. Your help is really appreciated. |

If my math is correct, according to the KBB invoice pricing you are paying slightly over invoice. I was able to negotiate $800 under invoice on an SE AWD w/NAV. I live pretty close to you, but chose to drive 40 minutes to the Dublin Auto Center after first locating the VIN number of the exact vehicle I wanted and then requesting a rock bottom drive away quote from their internet sales manager using email. You might want to see if you can do better on the price. For more info on what I did see my previous posts starting Dec. 26th. Murano 2004 SL AWD $27,404.00 -Touring pkg. $3730.00 -Splash guards $73.00 -Floor mats $61.00 -Cargo Protector $54.00 +$540 Destination charge Invoice Price $31,862.00 |

| I didn't check Dublin but did check several other dealers in the East Bay. By far the best deal I found (>$400 under invoice)was at Dirito Brothers in Walnut Creek. They have a great reputation for service as well. The buying experience was pleasant. I did have to wait a week, but got the color I wanted. Just took it skiing last week and loved every minute. Nav system is a great toy, but be sure to have them walk you through it (which Dirito Brothers did) or really read the instructions. | |

Hi Wilsoniii, Thanks for the advise. My quote included Dynamic Control package. The invoice is $32,532. So I got about $273 under invoice. Still, sound like I could do better. I'll take your advise on checking the car I like on Nissan website. |

| I was curious to know if the factory installed Navigation system can be added later. One local dealer said yes, while the other said no. He said there is no wiring and the display screen is not the same. Any comments from the members of this board. | |

sure you can but it's going to cost you a lot more than the $2000. Someone priced out the individual components from a Nissan dealer's parts department and came up with something like $5,000 to add it later. Better off trading in your current unit and getting one with the NAV in it. |
