| There was one in shasta county very close to the one I wanted but they will have to drive it here and so it will have about 150 miles or so on it and I do not like that. I'm kinda anal about this. So I picked the ordering route. Like I said, am not in a big hurry. Just maximizing my old car...70 miles a day for a commute is about 17000/year and I dont want the new murano pile that much miles in its first year anyways. So I'll be babying it for sure. Its all good. Just happy that many new murano owners are enjoying their vehicle and problems on the new ones seems to be less than last years which is good for all. I'll give an update soon as I get one. | |

Dealer claims the car is a late model 2003 (I will verify the invoice before purchasing. 2003 SL FWD Black They are offering invoice + $100. The model they have (the only 03 left) already has leather (beige) package (also moonroof, cargo cover, bose 6 cd in dash 7 speaker, etc.). They said they will simply throw it in. The car has 513 miles on it. So, all this for $26000 + dest and taxes. I have not yet driven the car. But I would certainly take it on an extensive drive before even thinking of pulling the trigger. Seemes very good to me, but wanted some feedback. Thanks! Mike |

Hi I Just took home a brand new White Murano SL 2wd with premium package, mud guards, cargo protector and floor mats. I also purchased a extended warranty for 6 years. Out of the door price including tax, registration, title, extended warranty and the rest of the crap was $29900.00. Just wanted to share the experience of buying a Murano at High Point Nissan, NC compared to my recent experience at Vann York Toyota just down the road. The difference was unbelievable! The Nissan guys were so much better in all areas. Got the vehicle I wanted at the price I was willing to pay and the salesman went to extraordinary length to make sure I got what I wanted. Special thanks to salesman and manager at High Point Nissan who worked very hard to find the vehicle I wanted. They had to ship one from Columbus,OH and trade in one of theirs in exchange! I would highly recommend anyone to buy their vehicle at this dealership. Just very friendly and honest which is a rare commodity with car salesmen these days. I was so impressed I am considering selling my brand new Highlander(Good vehicle but very uncomfortable seats) and buy a black Murano with similar package. The one that I bought today was seized by my wife who drove it and said she found the vehicle she was looking for and I was left with the Highlander! Anyway it has been a fun day so far but Murano beats the highlander hands down in all areas except maybe in reliability where it does not yet have the same track record of the Highlander. Only time will tell whether the Murano will be as reliable as the Highlander or Honda Pilot. |

If my math is correct, according to the KBB invoice pricing you are paying slightly over invoice. I was able to negotiate $800 under invoice on an SE AWD w/NAV. I live pretty close to you, but chose to drive 40 minutes to the Dublin Auto Center after first locating the VIN number of the exact vehicle I wanted and then requesting a rock bottom drive away quote from their internet sales manager using email. You might want to see if you can do better on the price. For more info on what I did see my previous posts starting Dec. 26th. Murano 2004 SL AWD $27,404.00 -Touring pkg. $3730.00 -Splash guards $73.00 -Floor mats $61.00 -Cargo Protector $54.00 +$540 Destination charge Invoice Price $31,862.00 |
