I am not really believing all this hype that car buyers have all the advantage, unless you are maybe buying a GM car. They arent going to sell a car for a loss. I am still hung up on how low i can go. It would be great to know what kind of deals people are actually getting for that trim line.

I'm not quite ready to buy, but I did stop in to check out and drive the Murano at two dealers. One had lots of stock, and the other had only four left. After I told him I was educated in the market, and knew they were going well below invoice, the dealer with only four told me up front that they are dealing, and are not trying to make a killing, which is probably why they only have four remaining (2 LE's and two S's). He threw out an example, telling me they just sold an LE at $6k under sticker, which depending on the options, is somewhere in the upper $2k range below invoice. This admission came up even after I had told him I'm not quite ready to buy, and wasn't there to negotiate. I know this isn't totally comparable to the SL AWD (which is what I'm going to be looking for), but I think it's evidence that there are dealers willing to deal. |

wow. the price i am getting everywhere for the SL AWD is around 31,600 (again without negotiating yet). thats pretty much exactly what their invoice is according to consumer reports with the options priced. this is also without any of the dealer or regional incentives. So with about a $500 dealer holdback and anywhere between $500-1500 regional incentive that lands me at about 30 even. If they are selling below invoice i should be able to get lower. As for the options, the SL AWD and 360 value package (dual panel sunroof, alloy wheels, roof rack) requires X01 (leather package) and K01 (premium package: bose 11 speakers, satelite radio, and some others) |

When I finally get my Murano there is a great chance it will be an LE and I do not like the rims enough to keep them for city use. If any are interested in buying or swapping + plus some cash my email is realme31 realme31

Replying to: gresch (Jun 09, 2009 8:58 am) 2009 Nissan Murano SL All Wheel Drive Splash Guards, 360 Value Truck Package, LeatherPackage, Premium Package, Floor Mats, Cargo AreaProtector, Rear Bumper Protector, destination $29920 2009 Nissan Murano SL All Wheel Drive Leather, Moonroof, Premium, Technology, destination $30550 Both includes the $500 rebate. Still negotiating to get squeeze some more out of it and I will probably go down this weekend to one of them. So, no, you're not at the bottom. My #1 quote has more than your quoted car but almost 2K (or 1.5K if you didn't count the rebate) lower. I suggest you widen your search area as well. |

thanks for the advice, let me know what you pay in the end. just got another offer for $30,500 for the SL AWD (360/leather/premium). they say this includes the 500 regional rebate for me. Not sure how much lower they will go below invoice.

sounds like a great deal. Especially since the tech package/DVD is an extra $1600 and 1400 respectively. internet is definitely the way to go. |

Lowest price in Tampa Bay area that I've been able to find: '09 Murano SL FWD Leather Premium 0 miles $28,157 Per Edmunds, that would be $1800 below invoice. Don't want to pay for more options. Will likely want to finance-- so I need to see if this price changes with rebate. IAnyone in florida find better deal? Not interested in fly/drive. Many thanks. |
