Mediabaron, I got the same stuff on my murano and paid 31,275 before TTL, although that doesnt sound like a bad price and mine is the SL. Jbalser, good point, it did take me the better part of the morning and into the afternoon to wring the blood from my stone. I figured I had the time so what the heck! Trooper may not be the word, cheap bastard may be more fitting for me! |

| I bought my Murano almost 2 weeks ago and paid a bit less than TMV price. I got a 2wd Polished Pewter SL with charcoal leather (leather package), sunroof, premium package, cold package, floor mats, cargo mat, splash guards, and sunroof wind deflector for $29,800 +TTF. Overall I think I got a great deal and did this by email each dealer in my area and asking to submit their lowest price for this vehicle. It took about 3 hours to get all the bids in and I went to the cheapest (Jim Keras Nissan in Memphis) and it was as easy as that and the dealership experience was fantastic. | |

Just got back from checking out Muranos. Local dealer had 03’s jacked up $3500 over MSRP then “Monster Blowout’ priced back down to about Invoice plus $1000. At that rate I gotta be nuts (especially given that I can’t get first color/drivetrain/option choices) not to wait for an 04. Local Subaru and Toyota dealers are $1200 to $2000 under Invoice on 03's (for comparison). Is this wacky 03 closeout pricing consistent with Nissan Dealers across the country? |

Wow, the California dealers are really greedy. Check out CarMax.com in Washington DC. They're showing a loaded SE AWD with everthing including Nav, MSRP of $38,132 for $34,238 or about $472 under invoice. This is also a no dickering environment, so no hassle, except maybe the trip out and back! |

| Yeah, Douglas Nissan in Huntington Beach was marking up Muranos - esp. SE AWD - close to $4000 over sticker. The salesperson said it was geared towarded people with suspect credit. I told the salesperson that with 04's coming out, the car should be marked close to $4000 under sticker. She laughed. I laughed and bought from somebody else. Interestingly, Huntington Beach dealerships, whether it be Nissan, VW, etc., seem to always be marking up cars by $2000 to $4000. Strange tactic in such a weak economy. | |

jbalser12 I also live in Orange County, CA and have been looking at Murano's. Where did you end up buying and did you get it for under invoice? jimmymac |

| the 2004 murano is now listed at the www.nissanusa.com website. The packages are a little different but the price is almost exactly the same. Good news for those who waited!!! | |

I'd been looking at the 2003 for a while, but I had trouble finding the Cold Package. NissanUSA.com indicated Regal Nissan in Roswell, GA received a 2004 this week, and the 2004 Touring Package includes the cold package stuff (heated seats, mirrors). I saw the 2004 Murano in Sheer Silver with Cafe Latte leather sitting in the corner of the dealer's lot; it still had plastic on everything, inside and out. When I went inside and talked with the salesmen, he didn't even know they'd received a 2004. It didn't even have a stock number yet. The MSRP/sticker price was $33,260: Base of $28,200; Touring Package $4,300 Floor Mats $80 Cargo Area Protector $70 Sunroof Wind Deflector $70 This MSRP is only $8 more than the equivalent 2003. I paid $31,276 (which included an inflated $298 doc fee) Since MSRP didn't really change between 2003 and 2004 I assumed invoice didn't change much, which the dealer confirmed when showing me the invoice at one point (though I didn't get a copy). 2003 invoice would have been $30,355, so I think I paid about $921 or so above invoice. I think I could have gotten them down a bit more (the process didn't take long enough), but not too bad for the 2nd 2004 on the lot, and likely one of the first few anywhere. They offered the 84 months/70,000 miles extended service plan (Security+Plus) for about $1300 or so. I showed them an online quote for a 3rd party service plan for $875 and they eventually came down to $930. Also got 3.1%/48-month financing, after showing them the 3.49%/36-month financing I'd gotten from an online source. Hope that wasn't too much information. Hope it helps someone. I was very happy with the service at Regal Nissan. |

| I also live in the ATL area and will be looking at the 2004 probably later this year. I haven't been to Regal yet so it is good to know the experience went well. | |

My wife and I just bought a silver murano sl awd. they sold the extended warranty for 2100 that was 7years 100000. After we bought I called nissan corp and listened to there prompts it said we had 60 days to cancel if we didnt want it. They forgot to tell me that at Auburn Nissan in Wash so i canceled it. |
