First of all, thank you for people's posting here. This forum helped me a lot. Thus, I want to share my buying experience. I bought 2009 Murano 2WD SL + Leather+Prem.+Tech + Splash guard + Floor mat on Sep.27, 2008 OTD is $32,671.91 (4.99% finance) Car price only is $30,006.41. (MSRP: $33,370) The color is Glacier Pearl. My dealer shop is in Costa Mesa in CA. I think this is less price than carsdirect.com's price. I satisfied with price and Murano. I spend about 2 weeks research before buying. Personally, I would recommend you to choose Tech Pakage. It is really convinence like intelligence key system. I wish my experience help you and you would make better deal. Thank you

Interestingly, it seems like prices for 2009 Muranos have gone up in the last couple weeks. The offers I see on Web sites and on carmax.com are much higher than they were in September. What's odd is that Murano sales were down AGAIN according to Nissan, almost 16% down from September 2007. And, there no no rebates or incentives for Muranos right now (Nissan is offering incentives for every other model except the Murano). Has anyone heard anything that might explain this?

I purchased my Murano last week (SL AWD, Leather, Tech, Premium) and the dealer gave me a week to decide on the extended warranty. I never got one in the past, but do realize there are a lot more electronic components that can go bad in this newer model. I'm assuming I will keep the car beyond the 3 yr warranty. I drive less that 7K miles/year. Any advice on what level I should consider? No navi or moonroof, but they suggested the Gold Preferred. Is it true I have to sign up within 7 days of purchace? I actually was so disctracted with the new car, I forgot and now I only have one day left to decide! Or do I??????

This forum has been fairly helpful to me by going through experiences and I just wanted to share that I too have gone through and purchased my 2009 SL AWD (Merlot). To summarize, it seems that the Mid-west, West coast are the best places for deals on a Murano. The tri-state area dealers are sticking with their quotes and the best you end up getting is approx. $800-900 below invoice unlike the rest of our brethren who seem to walking away with as much as $3000 below invoice! I shall be sticking around if anyone wants to ping me on my experiences in NJ. I eventually made my deal through a dealer-partner of CarsDirect.com in Jersey City, NJ.
