I just faxed 6 dealers in the Atlanta area to purchase a new 2009 Murano. Two quotes have already come back with $489 doc fees. Has anyone else run into this profit enhancer? Have you been able to negotiate them down or eliminated all together? Personally I'm not to excited about paying this obvious ploy for more profit. Any help will be appreciated. adnips

Replying to: dpct (Mar 25, 2003 6:42 am) I also got a replacement policy for those very expensive 20" wheels. For five years I get at least two flat incidents and one replacement from any Nisssan dealer in the contiguous US. My cost per incident can't exceed $1600. That takes a load off my mind and my wallet. Just when I thought I was tired of driving I am in love again. This SUV is great and I am glad I stuck to my guns and got exactly what I wanted because it is more than worth it. |

Found one, but it sold before I could get on it. Told the dealer if he found one to not add the protection package. None of the dealers were aware of an April rebate. I don't think all of the internet sales folks are actually searching for me, so I will expand my dealer search, and also participate in the search myself. Is there any way to just do a specific vehicle search, rather than searching each dealer's inventory?

| An FYI for those in the Washington DC / Balitmore / PA area looking to buy a 09 Murano soon. While reseaching LE prices, I saw today that FitzMall has lowered their price to $600 below invoice. So either Nissan is providing some dealer assistance or Fitzgerald sure wants to hit a sales target. | |

I've used the dealer inventory search via Nissan's web site, but it is kind of ponderous to review 70 dealers [400 mile radius] one dealer at a time. I was hoping for a more efficient search process. |
