Just picked up a 2009 SL FWD with nav and blue tooth by mchall

Just had an awesome experience with State Line Nissan in Kansas City. Total price out the door was $34,702.55. Does not include tags, taxes or license. Also got 5.99% financing from dealer. Transaction was easy, no pressure tactics, no arrogance, super-professional atmosphere.

Splash guards
Dual Panel Moonroof
Premium Package
Technology Package
Floor Mats
Cargo Area Protector with Flip-Up Function (great for groceries)
Roof Rack Cross Bars
Nav
Leather Package
Pinstriping (didn't ask for that...just came that way)

TMV indicates full MSRP in our area, so I think the deal was OK. Also, the dealer had to get the car from about 275 miles away. Regardless of the make of car, it seems that everything sent to KC is AWD and we really didn't want it because we will tow this vehicle behind a motorhome in a couple of years.

New 07 Pricing by mdbpetry1

Has anyone recently purchased a new 07 Murano? There are still some new ones available in my area (MA). I would like to know how good a deal to expect.

I am nervous about buying an 09 as it is the first year of a redesign and I'm trying to save some money. I drove the Rogue, also a new design, liked the looks/size, didn't like the power.

The 2008 Murano is much nicer than the 2007. Even
if you get a good deal on the 07, it is still a 2-year old vehicle since there is no 2008 model.

Since you can get invoice pricing on the 09 murano. It makes no sense to buy a 07. Those cars have been sitting on the lot for months. When I ordered my 09 murano they weren't giving big enough incentives to buy a 07 and the ones on their lot had 1000+ miles on them.

At least one dealer in the Denver metro area is advertising leftover '07 Muranos for "up to" $6000 off of MSRP. Given the fact that the new model is out, and car sales are abysmal anyway, I would think you could do at least $2000 below invoice without blinking an eye...presuming you can still find the vehicle you want.

Hello,
I am looking to buy a 09 FWD SL Murano in the next 30 days. Is it beneficial for me to wait to see if there are any April incentives offered from Nissan? I thought I read somewhere that new incentives begin on the 2nd of every month? I am seriously doubting any incentives on the 09s at this point anyway. Any insight someone can give on potential incentives is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I just test drove the Murano this past weekend and like it....although i didn't let the salesman know that. He said there may be incentives next month, April, but don't quote him on that. It probably depends on how well it's selling. Why put incentives on it if it's selling like hotcakes? I've yet to see any on the roads in my area so the high prices could be keeping people away. Either way, i'm holding off until Memorial Day weekend. Hopefully the combination of holiday sale, gas prices, and slow economy will benefit buyers with getting a better deal on this model. Good luck.

Getting The Best Deal 2009 Murano by ggcars

I have been following some of the great advice given here and am requesting offers from my local dealers.

I am looking for a 2009 Nissan Murano SL FWD
Platinum Graphite/Black Leather with Premium Pkg, Leather Pkg, Technology Pkg, Dual Panel Moonroof and Floormats. My math brings the invoice price to $31,441

$25,688 Base + 867 Premium + 1388 Leather + 1648 Technology + 1015 Dual Panel Moonroof + 90 Floormats + 745 Destination Charge = $31,441

So far I have been offered $31,295 and $31,000 both seem great but am I forgetting something? We have a trade in that we will negotiate seperately after we get the best deal on the purchase. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Don't forget to ask about doc fees or other fees. Ask what the out the door price is to compare. You can then go back and see what the offers are on your trade.

I negotiated a very good price on a SL AWD over the weekend. They are ordering the Merlot for me. I got the price down to 31100 (300 below invoice) for the AWD, leather, moonroof, premium package. The MSRP was 43430. Once I sat down to do the paperwork they added a 300 dollar doc fee and 249 window etching (all their cars come with the etching automatically). So my price basically after fees went back above invoice.
