I think if you are going to purchase the only fee that may be acceptable is the Service fee (my was 149.99, which is at the higher end). If you are going to lease, there might be a Document or an Acquisition fee which could be up to 800$ I heard. It's very hard to avoid as I heard, it's almost like a closing fee on the mortgage.
But if dealer tries to add document fee for purchase you can just cross it off or find your own financing for the vehicle.

This doesn't seem like a very good deal. What is the break down of the "down payment" you mentioned, what portion of it is lease acquisition, etc, and what portion of it is cap cost reduction?
There are many other high quality SUVs with higher sticker prices than the Murano that would come in at the same or lower lease payment but with NO money down.
Lexux RX350
Acura MDX
Volvo CX90
Honda Pilot
Toyota Highlander

One of the really nice (and for me unexpected) features that goes with the automatic "two-driver" system is that when you shut the engine down the steering wheel moves up and out of the way, and the seat moves back. Sure makes it easy to get out.

kslice222 - Do you mind me asking how much under invoice you were quoted. The quote I recently received was $100 over invoice.

I ended up buying the vehicle for $100 under invoice since it was in-stock.

I hear you. I'm working on prices for a SL AWD 09. There are so many Nissan's in the central jersey area. I'm trying to figure out which is the best to deal with and of course price is the biggest factor.

I got my 09 LE from Pine Belt in Keyport, NJ recently for $100 over invoice. They have a big selection of SLs and especially LEs. The dealership is pretty easy to deal with, not that pushy, and the $100 over invoice price was given to me after the first email. Their doc fee is also quite low at $129.

Thank you. I just emailed Pine Belt for an offer. I got a decent quote from Sansone in Woodbridge but they have limited colors in stock.

I just purchased a 2009 SL FWD today. The dealer offered 5.99% for 60 or 63 months. That was a bit lower than what I had already arranged through my credit union, so I went with it.
