#1405 of 2921 Unethical dealer?

We went to McCarthy Nissan in Blue Springs, MO to look at the new 2009 model. We had driven a 2007 and liked the Murano, but really wanted to have integrated bluetooth. The sales manager stated that he had at least 10 2007 models that he would be willing to sell at a price that would make us forget about integrated bluetooth. So we took an SL out for a drive, reminded ourselves why we liked the car, then went in to see what kind of deal they were willing to make. The salesman went off to the sales manager's office, then came back with a piece of paper asking me to sign that I was serious and that we could complete a deal by COB on Monday. Then he came back with a price of $30,369 and had me initial again.
He went back to the manager's office and came back about 30 seconds later with a "deal" worksheet that included a trade in of $12,500 (not sure where that came from) and the delivered price of the car was approximately $34,500. Huh????
I immediately got up out of the chair, stated that there was nothing further to talk about and walked outside. The salesman and manager followed me out with the invoice and stated they couldn't possibly sell me that car for $30,369. And all of a sudden, neither of them could remember that they had my signature on a piece of paper with the $30,369 price.
Now, maybe someone made a mistake. And if they had so stated, and been honest about it, I might have been willing to continue negotiations. But because of the instant "amnesia" I am pretty sure I will not step inside that dealership again, ever.
Too bad...I was just about ready to give them my SSN and see what financing rates they could come up with. I could have driven the car home...I knew it was a really good price.

First one to pickup 2009 murano fully loaded in Georgia on 1/22/2008 , with all options, paid sticker price $36675. Awsome drive, very quiet inside and love the hard drive music system, and flash drive to play mp3's and wma's. Love the auxilary input in the rare seat so I can connect Ipod or mini dvd player to view movies. Love the keyless entry and keyless start and power liftgate. very spacious interior vey luxary feel with dual panel moon/sun roof.
overall Exceptional car, haven't found any issues yet. averaging about 15-16 MPG in the city hope this will get better.

Mike (samf10) - Internet pricing is the only way to go. I requested quotes from all 15 Nissan dealerships in the Chicago area. The range between the highest and lowest price is quite surprising. The price I mentioned is from the Nissan dealership in Oak lawn. Good luck!

How much would they charge to deliver it to GA?

Could you tell me what the exact deal was that you got on the 09 LE with navagation from Fitzgerald Nissan. I am in PA and am begining to look for the best price for an 09 LE with a Navagation System in PA and MD.

See post #1387 they are in Elmira,Ny, just over the pa/ny border. If your not trading anything in, they offer a decent price. I think $3301.00 off sticker is pretty good.

A dealer in Somerset, NJ has offered me a 09 Murano SL with Premium and Technology, and dual moonroof, packages for $33,400. Invoice price appears to be around $31,900 or so. MSRP on the car was $35,000. We essentially "split the baby" in terms of MSRP and Invoice. Good deal? Thoughts?

mensch1971 - I think the price you got is aggressive for a brand new 2009 Nissan Murano, but you should be able to do a little bit better. If you need more help, please feel free to email me or reply.

After going back and forth with the sales person here's "the best he can do":
2007 SL AWD
Sunroof PKG (sunroof, bose system, 6 cd changer, roof rack, etc.)
:: $28,000 before TTL.
(about $5500 below sticker)
1.9 finance for 3 yrs.
Price includes an after market leather installation (I guess is worth about $1,200).
Is it still worth considering for an '07?
