#1399 of 2921 2007 SL AWD Lease Price?
Jan 23, 2008 (4:07 pm)
After some shopping I was offered this deal today and can't seem to make sense of it:
2007 SL AWD Touring
MSRP over the phone $37000
Sales price $33192
Money factor 0.00016
Residual 39 months 49%
Trade Value $20,000
KY sales tax 6%
(Approx.) Monthly payment $480
I don't understand how Huffman Nissan is coming up with this payment. Also, is this really the best deal to be had on a 2007? We drove a different color Murano on Sunday that had an advertised price of $32855 on the windshield. It is not a demo, etc-- it's brand new. I was told today over the phone that price could be only be had on a purchase otherwise we'd need to ADD $2000 "to make up" for the rebate not offered on a lease thus making the sales price $34855!
Can someone please help? It seems like the $1500 (Nissan) rebate would have to be applied to get to this payment but I'm being told that money does not apply to leases. I also don't feel $33192 is the best they can do considering the 09's just came out.

I received a quote for the following:
2009 Murano SL AWD
MSRP is $33,040 and I was given a price of $30,469 (before TTL). This is NOT VPP pricing. It is about $100 over invoice price.
Is this a good price? With the economy in the crapper, I don't imagine people are getting in line to buy a $30k vehicle that requires premium fuel. I'm thinking maybe I should wait 4 to 6 months to see if Nissan offers any kind of incentives. Any thoughts on this?

That is a great price, i would jump all over that if you were. Where are you getting that price? I have pretty much decided on the 09 Murano over the RDX. Now i just need to work out a price like that and find my vehicle between a few dealers. Very curious to know how and where you got that price, thanks

Got my 2009 murano LE with Nav for $500 over invoice. One price store in PA. Delivered price, awesome deal....$500 over, no freight or processing fees. Fitzgerald Nissan claims to be $500 over invoice on all new Murano models. Best deal I could find, I'm coming from Georgia to get mine next Friday!!!!!
#1405 of 2921 Unethical dealer?

We went to McCarthy Nissan in Blue Springs, MO to look at the new 2009 model. We had driven a 2007 and liked the Murano, but really wanted to have integrated bluetooth. The sales manager stated that he had at least 10 2007 models that he would be willing to sell at a price that would make us forget about integrated bluetooth. So we took an SL out for a drive, reminded ourselves why we liked the car, then went in to see what kind of deal they were willing to make. The salesman went off to the sales manager's office, then came back with a piece of paper asking me to sign that I was serious and that we could complete a deal by COB on Monday. Then he came back with a price of $30,369 and had me initial again.
He went back to the manager's office and came back about 30 seconds later with a "deal" worksheet that included a trade in of $12,500 (not sure where that came from) and the delivered price of the car was approximately $34,500. Huh????
I immediately got up out of the chair, stated that there was nothing further to talk about and walked outside. The salesman and manager followed me out with the invoice and stated they couldn't possibly sell me that car for $30,369. And all of a sudden, neither of them could remember that they had my signature on a piece of paper with the $30,369 price.
Now, maybe someone made a mistake. And if they had so stated, and been honest about it, I might have been willing to continue negotiations. But because of the instant "amnesia" I am pretty sure I will not step inside that dealership again, ever.
Too bad...I was just about ready to give them my SSN and see what financing rates they could come up with. I could have driven the car home...I knew it was a really good price.

First one to pickup 2009 murano fully loaded in Georgia on 1/22/2008 , with all options, paid sticker price $36675. Awsome drive, very quiet inside and love the hard drive music system, and flash drive to play mp3's and wma's. Love the auxilary input in the rare seat so I can connect Ipod or mini dvd player to view movies. Love the keyless entry and keyless start and power liftgate. very spacious interior vey luxary feel with dual panel moon/sun roof.
overall Exceptional car, haven't found any issues yet. averaging about 15-16 MPG in the city hope this will get better.

Mike (samf10) - Internet pricing is the only way to go. I requested quotes from all 15 Nissan dealerships in the Chicago area. The range between the highest and lowest price is quite surprising. The price I mentioned is from the Nissan dealership in Oak lawn. Good luck!
