Finally looking like I'm going to lock down a car with the dealer, but he'll have to find it from another dealership (doesn't have the color scheme we want).

$36,600 for a Murano SL FWD w/ touring, navi, floor mats, and mud guards (wrong color, but same car for comparisson purposes)

My cost is 1% under invoice so basically around $33,200. Hopefully going to pull the trigger sometime this month and get the 0.7% / 36 months.

Wow.... 0.7%, that is amazing! We just purchased our 07 Murano on April 30th to take advantage of the 1.9% financing - for fear that it would end, or go up. I never imagined it would go down, and especially not by that much!

Oh well, my wife is very happy with her new vehicle, experience at the dealership was fine. So, we are happy.

Yea, it was a big jump from the 1.9%, but even if they go to 0% that's only like $15/month in difference for me. I don't see them doing that though, and the salesman was confident that the $1,000 rebate wouldn't get any larger if it hadn't already.

since the Murano get a complete make over for 08, I see huge rebates coming for the 07 in a couple of months.

I got two email offers from dealerships that I just sent emails to this weekend. Murano SL with touring package and a few other goodies. One dealership had one with a MSRP of 36,500 offering me invoice price. The other had one with chrome wheels MSRP of 37,830 offering 32,500. I think I can do better still so I will let you guys know what I can get out of them. The one that offered me 32,500 I sent an email stating that I see on the net that the Murano was selling for 1000 below invoice and that there is a change in model in 08. Hope this help anyone looking to buy one. I am in 2 weeks.

Wow... good luck gettign $1000 below invoice. The only way that's even happening is with the rebate right now otherwise you're barking up the wrong tree.

I have seen a local dealership trying to move product that has been sitting on the lot for a few weeks, but those are ones that no one wants (color combos or factory options that aren't popular).

If you can score invoice then that's a good deal.

Just Bought 2007 SL FWD in SoCA by j_man

Just bought an SL and I have to thank all of you on this website. I learned a lot about the buying process and especially about the specific SUV Crossover from these pages. I felt informed and able to negotiate a reasonable deal. We got a blue SL with touring package, Navigation and DVD for $33,529 including the 1K rebate (selling price was 34,529). They gave gave us 20K for our trade-in so we were able to walk out with an 18K bill (OTD for 38K). We paid cash, so we waived the great interest rates (0.7%!!) for the 1K off selling price. Probably not the best bargain ever reported here, but we got the car we wanted with a generous trade-in and an overall pleasurable buying experience. The ride home was very pleasant and quiet, the navigation was easy to use. Hope we are this postiive about this car a year from now. Thanks again to everyone for all the information and good luck with your own purchases.

Did I get a good deal on my Murano lease???? by argot23

I just leased a 2007 Pearl SL AWD with touring package. MSRP was $37,290 and got them down to $33,488.52. I traded in a '99 Maxima SE fully loaded with 100,700 milees and got $6,840.00 for it. Lease is for 24 months, 12,000 miles/year with a payment of $225.00/month including taxes. Also got them to throw in a sunroof wind deflector at no charge. The residual value on the car is $22,746.90. I did a lot of research prior to making the deal but after two weeks still pondering if I was successful in negotiating my first new car deal. Could use some feedback to clear my mind! FYI..deal took place in Omaha, Nebraska.

Jman, that sounds like a terrific deal if I'm reading your post correctly... You got a fully loaded SL with a navigation unit AND a DVD entertainment system for $33,529 with rebate? That's a great deal.

To give you an example, I am with a company that gives me a Nissan "partner" discount and my cost for a SL with touring and navi (no dvd) is $33,200 or so without the rebate. You are basically getting invoice or below for your car which is a great deal.
