Look up a used 06 model similarly equipped with about 16000 miles on it (kbb.com and nada.com). About 15%-20% more than the wholesale price of a used one should be a useful target range for a new 07 especially this time of year. That should be a bit more than 7000 off MSRP. You may have to pay more if the model is hard to get or you are picky on color.

Good luck

I am looking for an 07 4WD V8 Sports Edition. I am going to add leather and navigation. I was quoted 40k out the door in Jacksonville, FL. That price seems outrageous. What should I be looking to pay for the car? Thank you.

Hey guys, just picked up my Black SR5 V6 4Runner and heres the deal I got. I want to know if you think it was good or not. Options:

-Powers Driver & Passengers seat
-Leather Steering Wheel & Shift Knob with Steering Wheel Audio Controls
- VIN# Etching
- Window Tint
- 17" wheels
- Tonneau Cover
- Cargo Net
- Double Decker Cargo System
- Black roofrails & Crossbars
- Daytime Running Lights
- Stainless Steel Door Sill Protectors
- Vehicle Lusterizing Shield Package
- Carpet Mats

I paid 25.5k + TTL. I think I did pretty good considering the dealer had a few extras added on that I wasn't charged for. The MSRP on the Vehicle was around 31,9. Thanks

New York Deal by toyotas2

I have inquired at several dealerships both in CNY and downstate. All of the deals seem to be pretty lousy. One deal I received was this MSRP 35007 Sale Price 31755 Residual 55% and money factor of .00181. I want to lease was going to put 2500 down and the payment I was quoted was $435. Seems high to me since I know I can get a RX 350 for 489/month. I think 3500 off msrp is kinda weak considering this is a 2007 vehicle.

Just bought 07 4Runner 4x2 SR5 by flyhighbabi

Send out several e-mails to the local dealers and one to Carsdirect.com, got e-mail back range from $600-2000 over invoice. Carsdirect was at the invoice(before $2k rebate), so I went with carsdirect w/o negotiation. I have learned that take the quote from carsdirect to a dealer, and they will beat it.(I didn't do my homework).

Here is the deal: Black 07 4Runner 4x2 SR5 with (bought on July 31 for the $2k rebate)
a)3rd row seat
b)tilt mooonroof
c)Black roof rack
d)Tow hitch
e)floor mats

$25,300+TTL, $27,700-OTD. MSRP: $30,800
I think Toyota has increased the rebate to $2500 in August, oh well.....no regret, didn't want to take chance since color selection is going to be a problem as inventory goes down.

Does anyone know if the TMV price includes sale tax? I search all over and nowhere mention tax.

Thanks for any help.

No. There are too many different tax rates in the many states for that to be useful. You want about $5000-6000+ off an 07 $30k-ish 4runner in any event.

Good luck

Thanks jfritsch. I got one quote offered at 6k off MSRP but one of the options is Toyoguard Plus so the invoice is a lot less than the MSRP.

So, we went to the dealership last night to test drive and look at the 07 4-Runners. We drove a really sweet silver sport edition and liked the vehicle but still not sure.

The sticker price was 32,500 and they knocked off 2,000 for some deal they have going and then they gave us 4,000 for the trade-in (which was supposedly worth 5,000 on KBB).
So, the price was still 26,500 and that was before TTL which I can assume is around 2,000 plus or minus. When I told them we weren't interested in the vehicle for that price I really expected a counter offer but it didn't come.

While I really like the vehicle it seems to be more than I am willing to pay right now. I flat out asked the guy if he thought a note of around $350/mnth. was realistic and he
said yeah that it was possible but the numbers they came back with would be no where near that. Over $400 for sure.

Is this the best deal I can expect?

'08's online / Sept rebate? by dirkpitt73

In case you haven't seen it, the '08 4Runner is on Toyota's site now. Side curtain airbags now standard and a couple other minor changes. Anyone know of the rebate on '07's is going to increase in Sept and to how much? I'm hoping it'll go up another thousand to $3k.

About 6000 off msrp and if your trade is under 4 years old and in excellent shape (check their guidelines) close to kbb excellent wholesale is a good deal. Check your credit union on financing rates and see what your monthly payment would be for the difference.

good luck
