Doing the nitrogen experiment

Actually, I'm doing the experiment on my car and a bicycle. Have a frind who runs a tire shop/garage, and we both got curious. Since I track my mileage closely, he firgured I would be a good test.
I don't really think the nitrogen has a direct affect on mileage performance. By that I mean that there's no difference in mileage between my car with properly inflated tires using air and properly inflated tires using nitorgen.
The fact that the tires are supposed to lose pressure slower when filled with pure nitrogen would yield less of a decrease in mileage for someone who doesn't pay too close attention to their tire pressures. But as I do pay attention, I'm not expecting any "gain" in mileage performance.
Just as an observation, we did my bike simply because bike tires do tend to lose pressure over shorter amounts of time, and so far I'd have to say they seem to be holding pressure a bit better. Hard to quantify though.

I live in Vegas & when we been having temps around 105-109 recently incl 116 couple weeks ago & so far the a/c in my 3 has been good. This is my first summer w/ this car & I was wondering myself if the a/c would be cool enough and it has (i'm one that gets hot easily). Also my interior is grey so that helps as well... Did you get to test drive a 3 yet? Try to drive one that has been sitting out on the lot so then you can see if the a/c is cool enough, etc...

Problem im having is when i turn on the A/C in my M3 (GT 5-speed) it feels like someone tossed an anchor off my back of my car. I can physically feel the car slow down. Asked the dealer about it and was told it was normal and if it had a more powerful engine i wouldnt notice it. Being that i am certified in a/c repair and have never seen this before, im not buying it. Anyone else have this issue?

OOO yeah. Mine takes a hit as soon as the AC is turned on. Plus I can see a instant mpg hit of 4 mpg or so on my SG. The compressor is taking 5 to 7 hp and taking some torque.
You can feel it when the AC goes on in our Accord and Ranger. And then on some cars you have the condenser fan kicking on putting a load on the alternator.
AC is a load on a 4 banger....
I don't run mine a lot on my daily grind. Work for mpg,, yeah know.

I have a MZ3 GT 2.3 5dr and I feel a bit of power lost with turning the A/C on, but not significant and hardly noticeable. I zoomed past a Civic Si and a Sentra 2.5 SeR with the A/C turned on.

When going to WOT (Wide Open Throttle) the A/C compressor is turned off.
