This wax is awesome!! It took out all the scratches and swirls marks out. It even made the color of the car a deeper darker looking color, like a wet look.

hope you guys don't mind me asking but I wanted to know before I detail my 3 for the first time. 1. for interior (I don't know what kind of materials the dash, etc are made fr) what type cleaner/protectant do you use? vinyl or plastic stuff? 2. can you use the same on the leather wrapped steering wheel? 3. also what type for the exterior black plastic (?) trim around windows? 4. do you need to use a protectant for alloy wheels (I have the 16"  )? Thanks in advance!!

Replying to: mazdrvr (Apr 19, 2007 10:52 pm) 2. No only use leather conditioner on the steering wheel as for the seats also. Never use vinyl/plastic protector on any leather because it will crack it and mess it up. Everything I buy is Meguair's or Eagle one, since these two have proven to be the very best!!! 3. I use the Turtle wax with UV protector shine. You can also use the Megauir's plastic shine, it looks like Armorall, but much better. Armorall is not good for the cars, since after three years it becomes sticky and awful looking, I know from experience. 4. Not really, however, you can shine them up with any wheel product. I use the Eagle one, or tire shine, spray it on and leave it. It looks awesome. When you spray it on, it is like a foam then dries to a high gloss shine, which is not sticky or anything.

Tip: For anyone detailing try cleaning the surface as best as you can without scrubbing it. Patience works best here: you dampen the surface, wait, wipe it. If its not clean, you repeat by dampening.

test drove three different Sentra's and sorry to tell you that the torque is too low. The 3 has a higher end torque. I didn't like the sentra's at all, not even the SE-R with the CVT trans. They feel like they were pulling to one side when you floored it. However in the 3 all was going well. You floor it and you got your trans right up with your RPM's right away. In the Civic can Nissan with the CVT trans, you had to wait until the CVT trans stepped into the gears to catch up to the RPM's. There is simply no torque in these cars. The 3 won hands down. You should drove the 3 before buying. I beat you would of bought the 3. Do me a favor, go test drive the 3. But don't be sad that you didn't get it. Trade in I hear. JK. I like the civic's and Nissan's also. The SE-R and Spec V is a nice car, but the CVT is not good in these two cars. The engine red-lines than has to wait for the trans to catch up. This does not sit well with me. The CVT is only for gas, but has less power than the 3. I take the more torque and power over the gas mileage difference.
