So stallionre? How did your window tinting turn out? Can you also give me an idea how much this cost to have a Mazda3 sedan done. Thinking of getting it done myself if I can find someone who's good at it.

Thanks for reminding me to post. Sorry I forgot.

My window tinting came out awesome!!! It looks better than I thought, like a new car, OH wait, it is a new car. I meant to say like a different car. More of a sports car

I got my tint for $180.00, for all 4 doors and for the rear window, but since it was a Sunday job I gave them $250.00, lifetime warranty. I got the Suntech High Performance Premium Dyed, Ultra UVA tint. It is dark on the rears nd Medium in the front, 15% back and 35% front. It blends very well and looks great!!!

This shop that I went to does tint for the movies studios here in LA. They tinted all the cars for the show called Reno 911. Awesome looking cops cars.

Are you in LA? If so, I will give you the number to the shop that I went too.

some general care questions by mazdrvr

...Okay, I had my 3 for almost 3 months now & was wondering how soon should I wax, polish (buff?) my car?

*rant* I really hate those little rocks that are on the roads, especially here where on top of that theres alot of construction so theres more of it & those stupid semis on the freeway. There really super minor but found a couple chips & paint dents on the front of my car already! *end rant* sorry...

Generally, when you buy a new car, you should always wax it right away, since it has been on the lot for several weeks or months. When I got my car, it had a rough feel to the paint. I had to wax it well, only by hand to make the paint smooth again and to make it shine.

The dealer only sprays water on it with a high pressure unit and wipes the cars down with a soft cloth. That is all they do with the cars on the lot. Nothing else.

SO when you buy a car, the paint looks dull and rough in feel. This has been my experiences in buying new cars no matter what dealer you use.

Sounds like your car is coming back even better! I should of maybe thought about getting a front nose mask for protection but (for me ) I didn't think it would look right on my car.
I think you will like the Nanowax; I used the spray wax on my old Protege & it was very fast to use & really brought out the shine. I'm going to try one of their interior products next...

That sounds good. I get the car today at 4p.m. I only got the Nose mask for the protection not really for the look because it doesn't really look that good for the car, since the car is small in size. However, it does it's job.
By the way, Last night I used a brand new Wax for the car, not only the Nanowax, but I got the Meguair's High-tech Syn UVA protection wax. This wax is awesome!! It took out all the scratches and swirls marks out. It even made the color of the car a deeper darker looking color, like a wet look.
