I used edmunds.com to get quotes from several dealers in Orange, LA & San Diego counties. I also called USAA & had them contact KM Acura since they were the closest ones to me. They got an offer of $22,830. I got a quote of $22,770 from one of the Orange dealers & KM was able to match that. Their fleet department was very easy to deal with. The only option I went with was lojack for $375 (bargained down from $695). I got my extended service contract thru WarrantyDirect.com for $1100 for 7 years/100k miles. Most importantly, I LOVE my new car!

I got a quotation $20788 for new 2006 RSX basic which is about $700 above the invoice price in Dallas TX area. Is this a good offer? Please Help. Thanks!

Just got an 06 RSX w/Leather. Vivid Blue Pearl 5 Speed Manual   MSRP: $22,090 Invoice: $20,266   I paid: $20,719 ($453.00 OVER Invoice)   With taxes (7.25% Ventura County Cali), tag, license, regi and ALL fees ... $22,500 OTD   Purchased from Keys Acura on Van Nuys blvd..   Was a good purchase. I offered 22,500 OTD, they countered with 22,950, I again offered 22,500 OTD (should have offered 22,250 OTD)   They accepted.   I left happy knowing both sides got a good deal. Could I have ground them a few more dollars? Possibly. Do I think I made a good decision and got a good deal .. YEAH   Oh, and by the way.. the car is for my daughter. She now gets to make monthly payments to M&D credit union .... (Mom & Dad)

Hi, I am looking at a green 2006 rsx with leather and 10k miles on it. The carfax report says this car was owned by the previous owner for only 3 months. I can't figure that out but my question is about price. The salesman blurted out that he could maybe go to $18500.00 plus tax and everything else. After reading some of these posts it seems like it could be a little lower with 10k on it. Any and all responses are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
