6000 miles is a lot for a demo, maybe it was a loaner or a return? Price the car out using Edmunds appraisal tool, show the dealer the loss in value, then see what he says.

Since it's an '03 w/6k miles, it's a used car and should be priced as such. Run it on the TMV as a used car and see what $ it comes up with.

I got my brand new 03 s in September at invoice. Plus, I got the rebate, 0% for 60 mo. and a $250 rebate (RevItUp coupon).

Is the Bose stereo worth the price? Is the base stereo in the 6 any good? I test drove a 6 with the Bose system and it sounded great, I havent heard the stock stereo yet though.

That is my opinion !!!   I would buy Bose upgrade or aftermarket system.   I own 2003 Mazda 6s and need to upgrade sound system !!

i have an opp to buy an '03 6i fully loaded the only thing it does NOT have is the homelink on the mirror. It's really tricked out and drives well. It's got 12.5k and has been certified by the mazda dealer. Now I'm not a hard core car guy so I'm looking for a bit of help. I can get out the door on this car with tax, 7.7% for 21k. i also have the opp to get a new '04 altima for the same cost with the only diff in bells and whistles being the premium stereo. I like the handling better on the 6 but the room in the altima is better. Also the 6 suffers from the "stain" . Does the fix work? It really looks like rust to me. I appreciate any input and since this is a mazda board I expect I will get many pro mazda replies , in truth I'm leaning that way but I don't want a white car. If the price is exceptional I can put my dislike for white in the grave. thanks for your input.

That seems a little pricy, for a 2003...used? I think u can get out the door with a new 04 like that for 22K? Invoice is 22K on those and there is a $1,500 rebate. Does not sound like a good deal to me.

is the 12,500 miles on a demo car? If its a demo car I would wait a couple months to see if there are more rebates on an 04 6. Thats why I don't like buying used cars because you don't how an owner or select demo drivers take care of the car.   As far a stain fix goes on the 03 6's the 04's don't have that stain/rust problem. I don't think Mazda has recalled any 03 6's yet for the rust problem which I think would be a courteous thing to do if they did have a recall. Yet in my opinion its another reason to buy an 04 model. I;m not trying to tell you to buy an 04 rather than an 03 6 I'm just giving you my opinion. Its your decision so you have to decide whats best for you.

I just put a deposit on 6s AT with the sports package, Bose system and luxury package with moonroof. The quote I received was $23,300. Let me know what you think.
