Replying to: harrybush00 (Nov 01, 2005 11:47 pm) The deals you can get on the 2005's right now are incredible. You can't get a Mazda3 with the 2.3L engine, comparably equipped, cheaper than what I got the 6s for. So far we're quite pleased.

I'm looking into buying a 2006 6i 5dr now but Mazda is only offering a $500 MAC rebate. Other regions like the southeast have a customer $1000 rebate on 2006 6's! What gives? |

Other regions like the southeast ... Do you mean hurricane territory? I imagine that dealers there would be anxious to attract customers to restore business. |

Funny you mention hurricane territory....for folks in hurricane damaged areas Mazda is offering special incentives on all mazda products...These incentives can be combined with all other incentives. katrina disaster incentive $750 rita disaster incentive $750 Wilma disaster incentive $750

Does Mazda offer this incentive to consumers? What is it? I thought only GM offered this program through test-drives. 2nd issue: Is there a Southern California Mazda mandated advertising fee now? My dealer said it's called "Los Angeles Assessment" It's tacked on to all Mazdas in this area ($150). Wow this is new to me. Never heard of Mazda charging ad fees in this region. |

I'm about to buy an 05 Mazda 6s loaded. MSRP $27700,dealer wants $22500, What do you folks on here think I should counter offer? Many thanks

| I received a quote today on a loaded 6s wagon and it was about $5k less than MSRP including all rebates so they are being reasonably consistent. I did not press them too hard because I haven't made up my mind yet... | |
