Hi Dauhges, Yes I was actually lucky enough to find and purchase a '65 GTO convertible out in sunny dry New Mexico. The car was originally a 389 4-speed 4-barrel car....but it has the tripower now! The sun had really destroyed the interior and all the rubber but the frame, floorboards, trunkpan and sheetmetal were as solid as day one. The restoration should be complete this summer....it would have been cheaper to restore and old Chris-Craft cabin cruiser. Do you work on or have access to the Titan production line? I am thinking about placing an order for a Titan and it would be neat if you could post updates on the truck as it went down the line. |

I won't have time to surf the web anymore when my Titan is delivered. It has FWD only - when the rear wheels are airborne... |
|
| FWD is referring to Four Wheel Drive. | |
|
Usually: FWD is Front Wheel Drive RWD is Rear Wheel Drive AWD is All Wheel Drive 4WD is Four Wheel Drive 2WD is Two Wheel Drive Then there is the 2x4, 4x4, 6x6, ad nauseum... |

| Hi daughes, Been waiting for the electronic locking rear differential since a made a deal for a Titan LE kc in December. My dealer did an order for it this past Friday figuring March order, April build, May delivery. With April 4 sited as the magic day for the locker they figured this would work out. Is there any way you can keep me posted as to whether the April 4 date is actually the date that the first one goes in and secondly, does this all seem realistically the correct info? Thanks, Bill...Ur info is surely a great insite and enhances this site. | |
| Bill, I've been waiting as well, HOWEVER, Daughes was kind enough to confirm that the ELD will only work in 4-LO. Otherwise there is a "rear active brake limited slip" included in the Off Road Package which I would think would be more of a useable feature. Just food for thought, had I known this before I probably would have ordered last month. | |

| Thanks for the response. Yes I am aware that it is only operational in 4-Lo. My information even says that it is only operational in 4-Lo low gear only. Still a feature I will wait for. In many instances it may be the last resort before a hike and a tow truck. Thanks again for the input. | |
