Thanks much for the information. No wonder the dealers are quoting higher prices for 09 cr-v.

Hold back is one thing.....stock is also why prices are kept high. South Alabama have very few CR-V's on their lots. I was told cash for clunkers was a big hit and moved many CR-V's. Makes me feel great as a tax payer when not only am I subsidizing the automotive industry.....BUT not catching a break on sticker price. I'll just wait things out!

I had a pretty good experience at Atamian in Tewksbury. Frankly I didn't have the time to spend haggling with people so I just sent emails to the 4-5 best-rated dealerships in my area (per dealerrater.com) to get price quotes. Atamian was the winner by quite a bit. This was for an EX-L 4WD without nav. Price including destination was about $24,800 for the '09 and $25,700 for the '10.

Best quote I have gotten for a 2010 CRV FWD in MD is $22998 including freight & processing. No other options. The only things to add are tax/tags. Is that a good price? Or should I shop around a little more?

So, your quote for $25,700 for the 2010 EXL- 4WD without Navi... how did you go about getting it? Did you you just ask for a quote or did you "show what you know" or "please your case" or any other tactics???
Any of you who have similar quotes for this model - please answer as well.
I am looking to put in offer or ask for quote today for local dealers. I've done inventory searches online for the Twin Cities (Minneapolis) in MN (which is where I live). I can only find 2 in the color I want, but I'm willing to budge on color. Still, there are only about 20 or so of these models in my large metro area.
Thanks so much!

Thanks for sharing your quotation.
Do you have any thoughts on whether it's good time to purchase in Oct or end of December?
I had such a bad experience in August timeframe that I just wonder when to start looking again.

Thanks blue,
It still shows pretty high I guess, because I have read in this same forum for a XL-with Navi, it was quoted undre 26k, but the website (you suggested) shows 26752!
i am still confused between basic model and high end model though!

Just got an even better quote for the 2010 CRV EX 2x4 of $27799 including freight/processing. Tax/tags additional. Based on what I've learned from Edmunds and other blogs/sites, this is a great price. I'm done shopping and ready to purchase! Car Dealer is Heritage Honda in Westminster, MD.
