I traded in an 08 Kia Spectra The LX with privacy glass is quite good, but with the money I wasted on the Kia I could have gotten a EXL last year for the same $$. I'm very pleased with the CRV. It gets better mpg than the little Spectra. lol |

Replying to: panizza (Jul 14, 2009 8:09 am) Thanks for asking. I purchased a CRV EX-L royal blue, gray interior today for $23,940, $399 fee, and the usual TTT. Window sticker was $26,717 (includes $670 destination charge). Car was orinially shipped from San Diego to Jacksonville, then transported to a dealership in GA (Nalley). Their sticker was $27,221 adding accent stripe, ultrafill nitrogen (whatever that is) cargo mats, and splash guards. The splash guards and mat was gone by the time I got the car because I asked the dealer I didn't want to pay for the addons. Car was swapped from one here in Jon Hall Honda (Daytona Beach). Excellent dealership to work with. No pressure, very accomidating! They threw in a cargo net, first two oil changes, and window tinting. I did all of the negotiations over the Internet. All I had to do was pick her up. Did I get a good deal? Thanks! |

Does anyone have an opinion on whether I would save a lot more money by waiting to buy at the end of Sept. or Oct., or would it be insignificant enough that I should buy now if the price is right? I had a dealer say that prices are good right now because Honda has provided them with some dealer incentives for July. I don't know if he was trying to create urgency, or if he was being honest. I'm looking to buy a 2009 EX-L 4WD. |
