Make sure there's a 5" space that back wiper clearance for stick the mirror. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2011075/c-10- - - - 101/Nty-1/p-2011075/Ntx-mode+matchallpartial/N-10101/tf-Browse/s-10101/Ntk-AllTe- - - - xtSearchGroup?Ntt=bckup+mirror another one is backup lens https://www.heartlandamerica.com/browse/item.asp?product=safe-view-lens&PIN=6055- - - - - 8&GUID=&BC=S&DL=SEH34

Replying to: santarev1 (Dec 08, 2008 4:58 am) Where did you buy in NJ.... I've had a lot of calls as to new cash incentives but I still haven't bought the 09 EX AWD...lowest offer at 23,400 incl dest but no TTT... but I'm going to start calling the sales people to see how much off their previous offers thru the end of Nov. have come down. I can't imagine too much but I've had 2 managers call & tell me I will be surprised with the lower price. Anyone else receive word of what the new Dec. incentives are? |

BTW, what color did you buy? I just broke the 1,000 mile mark and now I can finally drive longer distances and go a little faster. MY QUESTION IS: what is everyones opinion on "break in" period? How many miles and speed limit? Thanks in advance.

I would buy the CR-V again. -For price, I DON'T think the CR-V has the best bang for the buck. There are a few other options out there that offers a bit more for the dollar, BUT, they don't offer the reliability/reputation of a Honda. So for me, that was enough to convince me to buy th CR-V. The CR-V does have the best interior. -My sister has a RAV4. Though that car is equally as nice, the RAV4 does a feel a little bigger and it sounds more truck like. I will give the RAV4 this, the steering on that car is like butter. So smooth and light (may or maynot be good, depends on your preference). Reminded me of our old Lexus. Overall, the CR-V is very car like and I think the handling is amazing compared to the RAV-4. -The power has been more than adequate for me. I hardly break 80mph, so I can't speak for the lead foot drivers, but passing, merging, and/or accerlerating has not been a problem. -ONLY KNOCK on the CR-V: Gas mileage is a little low for a car w/ an inline-4. During the break-in period (no hard accerlation and braking, driving under 60mph on highway, I averaged 19mpg. I thought that was very low. I considered these other cars: -Toyota RAV4: Bigger and more truck like -Subaru Forester: My 1st choice, but my wife hated the color combination and interior. Otherwise, I would be posting to the Forester forum. That car is VERY VERY nice. Sunroof is gianormous and their automatic tranny has a manual mode. -Saturn VUE: That car is heavy, but very good looking. Overall, I would buy the CR-V again. Practical, reliable and my wife likes the size of the car. It is just right to her. Any bigger and she feels uncomfortable driving/parking in the city. I personally prefer to drive sedans, so the CR-V is very close to that feeling. |
