Went to a lowest quote dealership today. Internet negotiation OTD price $24000. Saleman was not bad and pointed out that there was a protection package (all weather pad, etc) installed and asked for $450 value and gave us 50% off. We offered $ 23700 with protection pkg for OTD price. Back and forth with internet manager and general manager a couple of times. No deal. What do you guys think? Maybe we pushed dealer too much. We are in Ohio. tax+tag=$1700 roughly.

Replying to: kdtang (Nov 08, 2008 12:49 pm) It sounds good but to really tell you need to break out the other costs to tell for sure. I am in the same negotiations for an '08 EX in NJ. I offered $21,800 including the destination so with my tax and reg and plate fee I will be at $24,400 OTD if they accept which I think they will not. So you can go from there. We have been contacting for weeks. Now they have only 5 ex left. But today I can tell how bad the auto market is. Only 3-4 customers. When do you think I can email them with my increased offer?
